Have you ever left a doctor's appointment with more questions than answers?

Maybe you've been doing your own research, trying to understand your symptoms, or wondering whether natural approaches and conventional medicine can work together to support your health.

I know how frustrating it can be when you're looking for answers and the information you find only leaves you more confused.

That's one reason teaching has always been such an important part of my work.

After more than 30 years of working with patients, I believe women deserve access to information that helps them understand their bodies and make informed decisions about their health.

I want you to understand why certain changes happen, what may be influencing your health, and what options are available to you.

And when I receive messages like this, it means so much to know that sharing my knowledge is helping women feel more informed and confident. Thank you for these thoughtful words! 💜

If you're someone who loves learning about your health and wants to explore my approach to natural and conventional medicine, I'd love to invite you to my MAP Workshop.

What should you actually eat to support your hormones and hypothalamus?

The foods you choose every day can influence how your body regulates hormones, metabolism, and even your gut health.

And when it comes to supporting your hypothalamus, I pay attention to a few important things in your diet that can make a difference over time.

Are you eating foods that nourish your hypothalamus? 💜

Your hypothalamus is a small but powerful part of your brain that helps regulate your hormones, sleep, appetite, metabolism, mood, and body temperature.

And just like the rest of your body, it needs the right nutrients to function well.

Here are 7 foods I recommend including in your diet to help nourish your hypothalamus:

💜 Protein-rich foods like eggs, fish, chicken, yogurt, and legumes provide amino acids needed to make hormones and neurotransmitters.

💜 Omega-3-rich foods like salmon, sardines, walnuts, and chia seeds help support healthy brain cells.

💜 Sea vegetables like kelp, nori, and wakame provide minerals important for thyroid function.

💜 Colorful fruits and vegetables like berries, leafy greens, beets, and peppers provide antioxidants that help protect your cells.

💜 Cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts support healthy estrogen metabolism.

💜 Healthy fats like olive oil, avocado, nuts, and seeds provide nutrients important for hormone signaling.

💜 Gut-supportive foods like yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, and fiber-rich vegetables help nourish your gut-brain connection.

I encourage you to think about how you're nourishing your hypothalamus, especially if you're struggling with poor sleep, cravings, mood changes, or menopause symptoms.

“In all my years of seeing various practitioners for both body and mind, I've NEVER experienced anything as valuable as this.”

Those are the words of Gina Keesling, who recently shared her experience inside my Hormone Healing Circle. 💜

Gina HIGHLY recommends the membership to anyone who wants to learn more about their health.

And even though there's a monthly fee, she says it's “so, so worth it.”

Gina has seen various practitioners over the years for both her physical and mental health.

But one of our recent live group calls left a particularly strong impression on her.

“Yesterday was a live call (we have these every week or so) and she was able to zero in on, and nail down the exact situations of each of the handful of callers.”

During these calls, members have the opportunity to share their health concerns, ask questions, and better understand what may be contributing to their symptoms.

What Gina appreciated was how specific the guidance was for each person.

“She doesn't just say 'You're feeling this way...' It's 'You're feeling this way - here is WHY, and here's EXACTLY what you can do to help it, both physically AND mentally.'”

After years of seeking guidance from different practitioners, Gina found this experience especially valuable.

And I'm so grateful she took the time to share it with others.

Thank you, Gina, for your kind words and for being part of our Hormone Healing Circle! 💜

If you're curious about how your hormones work and what may be contributing to your symptoms, I'd love for you to start with my FREE Hormone Reboot Training.

It's a great introduction to how your hypothalamus helps regulate your hormones, metabolism, and overall health, so you can get a feel for the approach I teach before exploring the Hormone Healing Circle.

Have your periods become heavier, your PMS worse, or your sleep more disrupted right before your period?

These are some of the signs I look for when progesterone may be declining, especially during perimenopause.

Progesterone plays an important role in your menstrual cycle, sleep, nervous system, and reproductive health.

Here are 10 signs that may be associated with low progesterone:

1. Irregular periods
2. Heavy menstrual bleeding
3. Spotting before your period
4. Worsening PMS
5. Breast tenderness
6. Bloating or water retention
7. Trouble sleeping
8. Anxiety or irritability
9. Menstrual headaches or migraines
10. Difficulty getting pregnant

Progesterone is produced after ovulation, so when you're not ovulating regularly, your progesterone levels may decline. This is especially common during perimenopause.

Your hypothalamus also plays an important role because it helps coordinate communication between your brain, pituitary gland, and ovaries.

Of course, these symptoms can have several causes, so it's important to discuss persistent changes with your healthcare practitioner.

If you're experiencing several of these symptoms and want to understand how your hormones work together, I'd love for you to join my FREE Hormone Reboot Training.

If you have PCOS, one of the most important things to pay attention to is your insulin resistance.

When your body isn't responding well to insulin, it can make managing your weight and other PCOS symptoms more difficult.

That's why I recommend being mindful of three things:

💜 Sugars: Limit sweetened drinks, candies, pastries, and other foods with added sugar.

💜 Refined starches: Cut back on white bread, pasta, and other refined carbohydrates. Build your meals around protein, healthy fats, and plenty of vegetables.

💜 Meal timing: Try eating earlier in the day and avoiding large, carbohydrate-heavy meals late at night.

And remember, your hypothalamus plays an important role in regulating your appetite, metabolism, and insulin response.

If you're struggling with PCOS and insulin resistance, I'd love to help you better understand how your hormones work together.

Most providers look at a single hormone level and ask: is it in range? I ask a different question: are your hormones actually talking to each other?

For instance when thyroid hormone runs low, TSH should rise to compensate, like a thermostat kicking on the heat.

When I see TSH sitting low-normal while T4 and T3 also sit low-normal, that’s not three healthy numbers. That’s a conversation that isn’t happening.

What three “normal” numbers can hide, and why I read the conversation between them

Better sleep. Calmer days. More hormonal balance. 💜

These are some of the things women often want most as they navigate perimenopause and menopause.

And one hormone I encourage women to understand during this transition is progesterone.

Progesterone plays an important role in your menstrual cycle, reproductive health, and sleep. As ovulation becomes less frequent during perimenopause, progesterone production can decline.

That's why I developed Gen-Pro™, a highly concentrated bioidentical progesterone cream formulated in a transdermal liposomal base.

Each bottle contains 3,750 mg of progesterone, with 25 mg delivered per 0.2 mL pump.

If Gen-Pro is already part of your hormone care routine, I have a special opportunity for you to stock up!

💜 BUY 3 GEN-PRO™ AND GET 1 FREE!

That's $70 in savings on four bottles.

If you're considering progesterone support for the first time, I encourage you to learn about your hormone needs and discuss whether it's appropriate with your healthcare provider.

Marc has been using Genesis Gold® for years, and there’s a reason it has stayed part of his routine. 💜

With regular use, he says he feels more energetic while also feeling calm and relaxed.

That balance is exactly what makes his experience worth sharing. Consistency matters, and Marc’s story shows what Genesis Gold® has looked like as part of his long-term routine.

Thank you, Marc, for sharing your experience with us!
