Had an appointment this morning in Monroeville with ortho for her yearly spinal check, they said for whatever reason last year her spine curved 10 degrees to the left and this year it curves 13 degrees to the right and they have no idea why😅👍🏽

Said they cant correct anything till it hits 15 degrees or over so we’re supposed to just continue with her yearly check ups!

Big things happening over here! Little miss is FINALLY drinking out out this biggie girl straw cup! I thought we were going to be stuck on the boon sippy cup forever! 🙌🏽 YAY

After being here for days we finally are getting the boot!

Just in time to watch big Sissy’s double header softball game tonight!

They said she’s also having NES, which is non-epileptic seizures. But myoclonus ones which look very similar if not identical to her myoclonic seizures. Which now put us in a scary place trying to differentiate one from another.

Still so much unknown and it’s scary and confusing. All they did was up her dose of keppra.
And stated that this is also common in Angelman syndrome.

You can tell by the look at her face she has about had it with this place…if that ain’t a Jesse face idk what is 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

Well guys….

We’re still here. We got ourselves another night and another EEG!

Praying that we finally get some answers and we get to go home. We are really missing our big sissy. But our favorite Nurse Libby let her play dress up with her stethoscope and badge before she left us.

Please keep Rosalee in your prayers as she still having seizures. We’ve been at the hospital since 930 this morning, no meds are helping as of right now. They had to stick her 6 time to get an iv in and it was a traumatic experience with blood going all over the place. And then they had to give her something to calm her down.

They did an EEG test and they were able to catch a seizure, which is great..so hopefully we get some answers soon. They also decided to up her keppra again and are talking about giving her Klonopin as a bridge.

They did some bloodwork and have decided to re draw and see if some were elevated cause she had just had a seizure before they got the blood.

Then we got a little visit with our sis🫶🏽

But now we’re here for the rest of the night hopefully getting this under control.

Update on our crazy hair baby and her seizures!

She continued to have seizures till 550 this morning, none of them in that 24hr period were long enough for me to administer her rescue meds. I was finally able to get her neurology Dr to call us back this morning, and she said to give her an extra dose of her keppra to try and get them at bay then starting tonight we will up her dose. But if she continues to have seizures from now till later tonight we have to take her into the emergency room to be assessed.

She hasn’t had any seizures in quite a while and from her to go from them being dormant for months to having this many back to back is just so scary!
