Holistic Wellness for the greater good of your being. Consulting | Public Speaking | Envisonary | My name is Leigh Hurst.

In this group we will hold discussions, events, classes on how we can make a transformation on how we view life, and look at how we hold onto what is pleasant and familiar to us. In order to age successfully you must be present with what is happening now in this moment. This includes letting go of expectations and past beliefs or experiences that may block what is true in this moment. I am the owner of the company Purposeful Living Healing Center.

I lit something this morning that didn’t come from a store aisle. Just a scoop of Love Tea in a little Japanese pot, and my shoulders dropped before the lid even clinked. New free post on Substack, link in bio.

I am a huge fan of preventative natural medicine. I recognize there a lot of people who are sick right now and sometimes I am out and about around them.

In my line of business, I cannot afford to be sick, so I’m always using colloidal, silver and elderberry the first sign of any sort of feeling that may bring home sickness.

On my way home from a very busy week last night, I felt a little tickle in my throat so I stopped by sprouts to pick up some vitamin C.

After talking with one of the clerks that work in the natural medicine department, we decided how this brand is so fantastic because it has things in it that will kill any sort of sickness coming on.

Since it was almost forgot to check if this was vegetarian or vegan.

When I got home, I ran it through
Claude (AI) and found out that it could almost be vegetarian, but not vegan and possibly not vegetarian.

It has Lanolin in it, which is the oil off of sheep’s wool. It also has Propolis in it which is a sticky resin that bees collect from trees and use to seal their hives.

So needless to say, I am taking this back to Sprouts and looking for a vegan brand of this.

This is the way mindfulness works is really studying and learning what you are putting into your system before you just consume anything.

How often do you take the time to learn about all of the foods and products that you consume?

My goodness I can’t believe we have already arrived at Friday.

This week has kept me so busy all I have truly been able to do is eat a few bites and sleep and get up and do it all over again.

As this week comes to a close, I would like to give thanks to my human vehicle for having the energy and wellness to be able to complete all the tasks that I did this week.

Some of that includes healing sessions, speaking at the university, photo shoots for clients, and being able to attend my grandson’s first basketball game with his dad as the coach!

Social media acts strange sometimes and doesn’t allow you to put words on your post if you post videos.

So in the comments, you will find the photo shoot that I did with a client, and my grandson Son’s basketball game that I put a little video together for that also.

There is still time to schedule photo shoots with me if you are interested. Many people want to do this before the holidays so they can send out a more recent photo of themselves and some people want photos for their business.

The photo shoot that I did for my client yesterday was so amazing. She paid extra to have me extend her photo shoot for all the pictures and ideas that I had for her.

This was her response:

"Leigh is an inspiration and brings playfulness and joy to the aging process, allowing oneself to fall in love with themself.
Grateful to feel safe, fun and carefree with magic all around. It truly felt like I shifted a timeline 🫶”

Text me if you want to get on the photo shoot schedule.

One spot. One afternoon. One chance to give yourself the gift of deep healing. 🍂

I’ve opened a single 90-minute healing session this Friday, October 30, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM, and it’s on special for $113 (normally $177).

If you’ve been carrying stress, tension, or just feel like you need a reset before the holidays, this is your sign to come rest and be cared for.

There’s only one available, so once it’s booked, it’s gone.

Text me at 775-688-9837 to claim it. Zelle or Venmo accepted.

Today I had the honor of speaking at the University of Nevada, Reno Health Sciences Gerontology Department about sound medicine and energy healing.

Some students were all in, and some were skeptical, which I love! Curiosity and questions are where real learning happens. As the professor reminded us, even if you don’t believe in energy work, the instruments are still sending sound waves through the room and through the body.

Thank you to UNR for welcoming this conversation.
