We are often asked what kind of laboratory testing we offer, and whether or not it's covered by insurance.

Most standard bloodwork requested by your provider can be drawn at a lab that is within your insurance plan and should be covered. For standard bloodwork not covered, cheaper cash-pay laboratories are an option.

Your provider may also request specific Functional Medicine testing which could include urine, stool, or saliva kits you conduct at home and/or have blood drawn at a local lab. Generally, these labs are not covered by insurance. Prices vary depending on which test you do and potential reimbursement depends on your insurance.
