Today we had the opportunity to join the North Berrien Senior Center BINGO! 🎃 What a fun and enthusiastic crowd who loves BINGO! We verified the BINGO so they could go choose their prize and they kept us hopping as the game kept rolling!

Happy Spiritual Care Week! To end this week, Kim shares what training Professional Chaplains complete and a bit about the Board Certification process. Professional Chaplains have significant training in not just theology but also sociology and psychology. They also engage a practice - reflection - practice model in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) with peers to become more aware of not imposing their beliefs, values or ideals onto others. This education, training and reflection equips chaplains to be present with others during change or crisis to listen deeply, accompany and support them well.

Lakeside Pulmonary Medicine prioritizes care for the whole person: mind, body and spirit by employing Kim as the Chaplain and Practice Manager. 💙
