Pink lights. One powerful message. 💗

This October, BayCare hospitals lit up in pink as part of CREW Tampa Bay’s 2026 City in Pink initiative, shining a light on Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the importance of breast health. And not only did we light the night with pink, our team members put on their pink to support patients and fellow team members who are in the fight.

Our commitment goes beyond October. We’re here with compassionate care and support throughout your breast-health journey.

Let these pink lights both inside and outside the buildings be a reminder to make your health a priority. Talk with your health care provider about breast cancer screening and the mammogram schedule that’s right for you. Learn more about our comprehensive breast health services: https://bit.ly/46rFJMi

More care, more specialties and more opportunities for patients, all in one location. 💙

BayCare’s new Academic Health and Research Corridor brings 15 specialty clinics, primary care, an onsite laboratory and an outpatient research clinic together to make coordinated care more accessible for patients.

BayCare celebrated the new space with an opening event and dedication of a descendant of the Tree of Hippocrates, honoring the connection between patient care, education and the future of medicine.

Every hospital has its special team members, and at St. Joseph's Hospital-South, one of them has four paws. 🐾

Bentley, our beloved facility cat, spends his days brightening moods, accepting well-deserved head scratches and reminding us that sometimes the best medicine is a little feline friendship. 😺

Join us in wishing Bentley a happy National Cat Day!

Beginning in late 2027, BayCare plans to pilot robotic blood-draw technology, giving eligible patients another option for routine blood collection while continuing to provide traditional blood draws performed by phlebotomists.

BayCare will become the first health system in Florida to pilot Aletta®, an FDA-approved, image-guided robotic blood-draw device from Vitestro. A trained phlebotomist will remain in the room to oversee each robotic procedure and support the patient.
