Ever feel like food has 37 tabs open in your brain… and one of them is playing guilt on repeat? 🙃

What can I eat?
Was that too much?
Should I skip the snack?
Why am I thinking about dinner when I just finished lunch?

It’s exhausting. Especially when you’ve got an actual life that needs some of that brain space.

Imagine going out with a friend and being present for the conversation instead of mentally negotiating with the menu. Or enjoying lunch and moving on with your afternoon without conducting a full performance review.

That’s the kind of freedom I want for you. 🌸

You don’t have to turn every meal into a project. You’re allowed to eat, enjoy it, and have other things on your mind.

What’s something you’d love to give more attention to if food took up less space? Tell me below.

And if you’re ready for more conversations about food freedom and trusting yourself—with a little humor along the way—join my email list through the link in my bio. I’ll meet you there.

Would you give a friend a 20-minute lecture because she ate a cookie or didn’t finish her to-do list?

Probably not. But when it’s you? Suddenly there’s a whole performance review. 😅

“You have no willpower.”
“You should be doing more.”
“Why can’t you get it together?”

Whew. Can we let this woman eat her snack and have a Tuesday?

You can want to make changes and still speak to yourself with care. Try something you can actually believe:

“That didn’t go how I hoped. What would help me now?”

No forced positivity. Just a little less tearing yourself down while you’re trying to move forward.

What’s one thing you’d say to a friend that you could use hearing yourself today?

Ever catch yourself saying, “Once I lose the weight, THEN I’ll…”?

Buy clothes that fit. Take a break. Make time for yourself. Finally feel worthy of a little attention.

Meanwhile, the woman you are today is standing there like… “Hello? I’m still here.” 🙋‍♀️

She’s tired of wearing the uncomfortable jeans. She could use lunch, some kindness, and maybe five minutes without being treated like a project with a deadline.

You can have goals and still care for yourself along the way. You don’t have to save every good thing for a future version of you.

What’s one thing you’ve been putting off that would feel good to give yourself now? Tell me below.

And if you’d like more conversations about food freedom, self-trust, and caring for yourself in real life, join my email list through the link in my bio. Come as you are. We’ve got plenty to talk about.

Ever catch yourself explaining a choice before anyone even asks?

“I’m having pasta, but I barely ate lunch.”
“I’m resting today, but I’ll work out tomorrow.”
“I ordered takeout, but I usually cook.”

Whew. We came here to eat dinner, and somehow we’re presenting our case. 😂

You can choose something because you’re hungry, tired, short on time, or simply because you enjoy it. You don’t have to add a little guilt at the end so everyone knows you’re still trying to be “good.”

Try letting the sentence end a little sooner today.

“I’m having pasta.”
“I need rest.”
“Takeout works for me tonight.”

It might feel awkward. You’re allowed to practice anyway.

What’s one choice you catch yourself explaining? Let’s talk in the comments.

Yesterday, a salad with chicken sounded good. Today, you want a warm bowl of pasta.

We do not need to launch an investigation. 😂

You can enjoy both without deciding one was the “good” day and the other needs explaining.

Maybe you’re hungrier today. Maybe your schedule changed. Maybe yesterday’s leftovers just aren’t doing it for you.

You’re allowed to notice what sounds satisfying today without turning yesterday’s choice into a mistake. That’s part of practicing self-trust: giving yourself room to respond, instead of making every meal a rule you have to follow forever.

What’s a meal you love that looks completely different from the usual? Tell me below—I’m always here for food inspiration.

Apparently, my to-do list thinks lunch, rest, and having feelings should happen only when there’s an opening. 😂

Maybe you know that feeling. You’re hungry, but you’ll eat after “one more thing.” You need a break, but you already promised someone you’d help. You’re overwhelmed, but changing the plan feels like letting everyone down.

So your needs keep getting moved to the bottom of the list.

You’re allowed to pause before everything is finished. Eat while there are still emails to answer. Say, “I need to change our plans,” without presenting a twelve-slide explanation.

Having a need isn’t an inconvenience you have to apologize for. And making room for yourself takes practice; especially when you’re used to being the one who keeps everything moving.

What’s one thing you need today that didn’t make it onto your to-do list?

Ever catch yourself thinking, “But this used to work for me”?

Okay… and you also used to stay up past 10 without needing three business days to recover. Things change. 😂

Maybe the workout you loved feels exhausting lately. Maybe your usual breakfast leaves you hungry an hour later. Maybe you planned a busy weekend, but now you need some breathing room.

You’re allowed to adjust.

You don’t have to keep doing something just because a past version of you needed it. And you don’t have to wait until you’re completely worn out to reconsider.

Listening to your body includes letting its answer change. 💛

What’s one thing you’ve realized you need more—or less—of lately? Tell me below.

Ever finish a meal and think, “Okay… but where’s the rest of it?” 😂

Sometimes you need more food. Sometimes you wanted something warm, crunchy, or full of flavor—and the “I should eat this” meal didn’t quite do it.

Before your next meal, try asking: What would help me feel satisfied?

Maybe it’s adding rice to your bowl. Using the dressing you actually like. Or sitting down to enjoy lunch instead of eating over the sink while answering three texts. Guilty. 🙋🏻‍♀️

You’re allowed to consider what you enjoy when deciding what to eat. Lunch doesn’t need to pass a joyless little audition.

What’s one thing that makes a meal feel satisfying to you? Tell me below. 👇🏻

Ever catch yourself thinking, “I should know better by now”?

Because you ate past comfortable fullness. Said yes when you wanted to say no. Or kept going when you needed a break.

And suddenly you’re giving yourself a performance review nobody asked for.

You can learn something from a moment without being mean to yourself about it.

Try: “What was I needing?” or “What would help me feel supported now?”

Some days you’ll notice what you need right away. Other days, it’ll click three hours later while you’re unloading the dishwasher. That counts, too.

You’re allowed to practice. You’re allowed to be human.

What’s one thing you’re learning to listen to—hunger, the need for rest, or your own “no”?

Follow along for more conversations about food freedom and self-trust. And if you’d like a little encouragement in your inbox, join my email list through the link in my bio. We keep it real there, too.
