How is bipolar disorder treated in an outpatient program? Bipolar disorder brings shifts in mood, energy, and activity, and it looks different from person to person. At Rising Phoenix Wellness Services, treatment starts with an assessment and focuses on accurate diagnosis, medication management, mood stability, and practical skills for managing symptoms. Our integrated model brings psychiatric evaluation and individual, group, and family therapy together in one place, so clients do not have to choose between psychiatric care and therapy. We also emphasize the mind-body connection and healthy daily routines that support lasting mental health. Sometimes healing happens without saying a word.

Equine therapy offers an experiential way to explore emotions and build greater self awareness through guided interactions with horses. Their sensitivity to nonverbal cues can provide immediate feedback while creating opportunities to strengthen trust.

For those who may find verbal expression difficult, this approach can offer another way to engage in the healing process.

How can I support a spouse who is struggling with depression? Start by learning about depression as a clinical condition, listening without rushing to fix things, and quietly taking on everyday tasks that feel heavy for them right now. Supporting a partner also means protecting your own wellbeing so you can stay steady for the long haul. Our blog shares seven practical tips, including the warning signs to watch for and how to suggest professional help with care. At Rising Phoenix Wellness Services, we treat depression through individual, group, couples, and family therapy alongside psychiatric care, and loved ones can take part in our family group on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm. What does outpatient treatment for opioid use disorder look like? At Rising Phoenix Wellness Services, adults with opioid use disorder can receive medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with Buprenorphine or Naltrexone alongside behavioral therapy. Therapy focuses on triggers, cravings, and relapse prevention, and every plan starts with an assessment so care fits the person, not just the diagnosis. Clients move through our outpatient continuum, from PHP to IOP to OP, with support that steps down as stability and skills grow. If someone needs detox or a higher level of care first, our team provides referrals. Loved ones are welcome to join our weekly family group. Can I get intensive treatment without stepping away from work, school, or family? Yes. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Rising Phoenix Wellness Services in North Scottsdale gives adults strong clinical support for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders while they keep up with daily life. Clients can choose IOP 5, which meets Monday through Friday from 10am to 1pm, or IOP 3, which meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings from 6pm to 9pm. Most clients take part for 8 to 12 weeks. IOP is often a step down from PHP, and when clients are ready, they move into OP for lighter, ongoing support so care winds down gradually instead of stopping all at once. Find out if IOP is the right fit for you:

Rising Phoenix’s IOP in North Scottsdale provides structured group and individual therapy 3–5 days per week for addiction and mental health. JCAHO accredited. Most insurance accepted. Same-day assessments available.

Sometimes working through what you are feeling means paying attention to both your mind and your body. Yoga Cognitive Behavioral Therapy combines traditional CBT with yoga based movement and breathing practices, helping clients explore the connection between thoughts, emotions, and physical responses as part of mental health and addiction treatment.

We incorporate Y-CBT into our wellness programming and may also use it in individual therapy when movement based approaches are a good fit. Visit risingphoenixaz.com to learn more about our approach to care.
