Some awards just fit.
Denise Webber, President and CEO of Stillwater Medical, has been named the 2026 recipient of the Women of Wellness Trailblazer Award, an honor recognizing women whose courage, vision and commitment have helped improve the health and well-being of women everywhere.
And in Denise’s case, “trailblazer” feels especially appropriate.
Since joining Stillwater Medical in 2003, Denise has helped shape Stillwater Medical into what it is today. During her 10 years as President and CEO, the organization grew from a single community hospital into a regional health system known for award-winning care, five-star quality, innovation and a commitment to keeping exceptional healthcare close to home.
Her impact reaches beyond Stillwater. She has served in leadership roles with the Oklahoma Hospital Association and American Hospital Association, mentored emerging healthcare leaders and advocated for stronger hospitals across the state. Earlier this year, she received the Oklahoma Hospital Association’s W. Cleveland Rodgers Distinguished Service Award, its highest honor.
But this particular award has a little extra meaning.
Women of Wellness began, in part, with an idea Denise had a number of years ago: bring women together to support their community, learn more about their health and wellness, and create something meaningful in the process.
That idea grew.
Today, Women of Wellness is a thriving community of over 175 members who gather, give, learn and make an impact together. So honoring Denise at the very event she helped imagine feels a bit like coming full circle.
As Denise prepares to leave her role at Stillwater Medical later this year and become President and CEO of LifeCare Health Services, her influence will stretch even farther across Oklahoma.
We’ll miss having her quite so close.
But if there’s one thing Denise has taught us, it’s that good leadership leaves a mark long after the title changes.
Congratulations, Denise. Our 2026 Trailblazer.
