Healing the Sacred Thread: A Legacy of Dignity, Belonging & Restoration. 🌿

The thread of human dignity begins with remembering that we have always belonged.

Amor Latino Counseling was born from this truth and dedicated to my grandmother—a survivor of domestic violence, displacement, and single motherhood. A matriarch whose resilience shaped our family.

Through this work, I honor not only what she survived, but the rest, dignity, and ease she deserved.

Our ancestors survived so future generations could experience more than survival.

Healing the Sacred Thread is an invitation to reclaim rest, restore connection, and cultivate collective wellness that transforms our families, communities, and systems.

The children’s book I wrote carries this same vision: a world where our children inherit belonging instead of burdens, ease instead of survival, and dignity as their birthright.

May ease be their inheritance. May restoration be our legacy.

Today, October 24, we gather for Healing the Sacred Thread, a fundraiser supporting Amor Latino’s Rainbow House initiative and Restorative Wellness Fund.

“I started out by wanting to be more connected to the natural world. I knew that there was food and medicine all around me, but I didn’t know what it was. I started learning the land and its flora and then identifying those plants. The goal was to make a small meal with only ingredients found in the woods, the lesson was that there’s so much more so close to home.”

The sacred masculine is unraveling before our eyes. 🌎

Not Yeshua himself, but the wounded systems that have distorted his teachings and glorified suffering, sacrifice, domination, and control.

Yeshua’s wounds remind us of what humanity can inflict. His teachings remind us of what love can restore.

Pachamama, our Mother Earth, calls us back into sacred reciprocity.

The feminine was never meant to carry the burden of healing the masculine through her own suffering.

And the masculine was never meant to prove its worth through domination, endless productivity, or emotional suppression.

True resurrection requires transformation. True love requires accountability.

We are being invited to unlearn generations of survival, restore our relationship with the Earth, and remember that rest, compassion, and reciprocity are sacred.

As above, so below.
As within, so without.

We do not heal humanity by continuing to glorify suffering. We heal by remembering the love that suffering was never meant to replace.

May we become good ancestors by choosing restoration over repetition.
