Diabetes Youth Services is deeply saddened to share the passing of Dr. James “Jim” Horner, a longtime pediatric endocrinologist and member of the DYS Community.

Dr. Horner dedicated his career to caring for children living with diabetes and previously served as a member of the DYS Board of Directors.

We are grateful for the impact he has made on families throughout his career. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, former patients, and colleagues.

His legacy will continue to be remembered. The “biggest kid of all” will be missed by all of those whose lives he touched. Read Dr. Horner’s full obituary and learn more about his life and legacy at this link:
