Watch out for these 7 yellow flags that your baby might be a bottle refuser (before you ever offer it to them).

I love helping bottle refusal families, but trust me, your life would be easier if you didn’t have to see me for that 🙃

Good news? If you know what to look for, and what to do when you see it → most of the time you can avoid the whole thing.

🍼 That’s exactly why I made my Bottle Introduction Guide for Avoiding Bottle Refusal.

🔗 Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you the link.

It’s a comprehensive 21-page guide for…

🤱🏽 parents who are hoping to avoid bottle refusal with their latching/breastfeeding newborns, but haven’t started offering a bottle yet

🤱🏽 parents whose newborns (under 8 weeks) are currently taking an occasional bottle but it seems to be getting harder or baby seems to struggle

🤱🏽 parents whose newborns cannot keep a pacifier in their mouth

With instant access to my guide, you can start working with your baby *today* to avoid bottle refusal down the line.

Myth or fact? Breastfeeding edition 🤱🏽 How many did you get right?

Also - this was so much fun to film! Should we make this game a recurring thing? Let me know in the comments!

If your baby is refusing the bottle comment BOTTLE REFUSAL and I will send you my three part blog series where I take you through it step-by-step.

And for my fellow lactation professionals → they don’t call me The Bottle Refusal Wizard for no reason. After helping thousands of families with bottle feeding struggles, I developed my own method to guide babies past bottle refusal… and that wizard title stuck.

I had mastitis within a week of my first baby. I had NO idea what I was doing. 😣

I’m putting this out there hoping it finds at least one parent and helps them feel at least 10% less desperate and clueless ❤️

If this finds even one of you at 3am googling with a rock hard b**b and a fever- this one’s for you 🤒

But for all of you that have gone through mastitis → did you get the support you needed? Or were you pretty much left alone to figure it out?

Let’s share our stories in the comments 🎙️

Ok but before you actually call me → comment BOTTLE REFUSAL and I’ll send you my free, step-by-step, three-part blog series where I break down how to overcome bottle refusal.

🥼 And if you’re a lactation professional who hates to see bottle refusal consults on their calendar (I get it, that was me too)…

🍝 Bottle refusal consults don’t have to feel like throwing spaghetti on a wall.

After helping 1000s of families overcome bottle refusal (and them starting to call me The Bottle Wizard), I’ve developed my own method.

I break down the entire methodology in my signature course Guiding Bottle Breakthroughs, step-by-step, start to finish:

🍼 Why bottle refusal actually happens

🍼 Step-by-step assessment process

🍼 Creating a real care plan for the family

🍼 Video library of me working with real babies

🍼 Client-ready handouts and oral function exercise tutorials

🍼 22 CERPs — lifetime access

Comment EXPERT and I’ll be in your DMs with all the details. ✨

Okay, no joke- bottle refusal is solvable, but your life will be much easier if you avoid it in the first place!

Here’s the thing… since bottle refusal in babies under 6 months is an oral function issue, not a behavioral issue, there are many yellow flags that almost all bottle refusing babies have in common (even before the bottle is introduced).

And if you know what yellow flags to look for you can avoid bottle refusal altogether!

I put together a guide that will guide you through this step-by-step. Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you a link to purchase.

If you’re already going through it and your baby is refusing the bottle, I wrote a three part guide on what to do when your breastfed baby won’t take the bottle. Comment BOTTLE REFUSAL and I’ll send it over 🍼✨
