We understand that our recent announcement regarding our relationship with UnityPoint Health has raised questions about what this may mean for your care.

First and foremost, there are no immediate changes to your care. Your appointments, procedures and physician services will continue as scheduled. You do not need to take any action at this time.
The Iowa Clinic's physician-led Board of Directors recently issued termination notices for certain agreements with UnityPoint Health, with effective dates ranging from February through October 2027. These notices do not mean our partnership has ended.

The Iowa Clinic is seeking resolution, not separation. Our goal is to address important issues within our longstanding partnership so our physicians can continue providing the high-quality care our patients deserve. We have invited UnityPoint Health leadership to engage in meaningful, productive discussions to find a path forward that supports our patients, physicians and the Central Iowa communities we serve.
Should any changes to your care become necessary in the future, we will communicate directly with affected patients as far in advance as possible and provide guidance on any next steps.

Our commitment to you remains unchanged. We will continue putting our patients first, advocating for the care you deserve and keeping you informed as discussions progress.

Following breast cancer surgery or treatment, everyday activities can become more challenging. Through The Iowa Clinic's Pink Ribbon Program, our certified physical therapy team provides specialized care to help patients regain strength, improve mobility, manage pain and swelling, and support lymphatic drainage.

Beyond physical recovery, the program also focuses on improving energy, confidence and overall quality of life.
