🎃 Trick-or-treat with Empowered Kids! 🍬

We’re excited to participate in Westfield’s downtown trick-or-treating tomorrow, Friday, October 30! Stop by Empowered Kids Learning Center for candy and small toys, or join our families as we head downtown together. We’ll be leaving the center at 4:00 PM!

We’ll have laminated trick-or-treat communication cards and buttons that speak available for children to use, along with staff to support families along the way. Everyone deserves to join in the fun in whatever way works for them! 🧡

Everyone is welcome—you don’t need to be an Empowered Kids family to join us. We’d love to see you there! 👻

✨ So much gratitude for this community…

We want to take a moment to say a special thank you to some of the businesses and individuals who donated to the event. The Empowered Kids Community Fund is now a reality and will help us continue supporting neurodivergent children and families in meaningful ways.

We’ve started displaying some of the sponsor signs at our learning center as a small way to recognize the impact you’ve made—your support is seen and felt every day.

We are so grateful to be surrounded by such an incredible community 💛

All day, I kept thinking about what made this event so meaningful—and what it really comes down to is connection and community.

When Empowered Kids was just a few clients and a small team of us figuring things out as we went, we used to dream about the lives we could touch one day and the ways we could show up for families.

Last night, we got to see that come to life.

So many incredible people showed up. The night was filled with kindness, love, and genuine connection. There was a community of people—all connected by their experiences with autism in one way or another—coming together to support something bigger than themselves.

From the decorated golf carts to the bracelets and pins that people proudly wore, it was truly special to witness something that, at one point, we had only hoped might one day exist.

And now, not only has that vision come to life—but because of the funds raised, we’re able to take the next step forward.

The Empowered Kids Community Fund was created because of everyone who showed up, donated, golfed, and helped bring this event together. This fund will allow us to support even more families—especially those who may face financial barriers to accessing services and opportunities.

It’s built on love.
On kindness.
On connection.
On community.

And that feels really, really special 💛

Stay tuned—we’ll be sharing some well-deserved shoutouts to our incredible sponsors who helped make this all possible

Tonight was filled with so much love, connection, and kindness. Thank you to everyone who participated in the golf tournament in one way or another. My heart feels so full and I am left without words at the moment. So for tonight, I will leave you with pictures until I can figure out how to take all these emotions and process them into words. Thank you, thank you, thank you 💚🧡💛
