Catherine’s Health Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center providing primary medical, dental, behavioral health, and health support services. Headquartered in northeast Grand Rapids, Catherine’s Health Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center. We provide access to high quality, affordable, and compassionate health care for the underserved throughout West Michigan. Alphonsus church in the Creston neighborhood. While not directly affiliated with one religious group and no longer a volunteer-run clinic in a basement, we continue to work from the heart of our mission to provide exceptional health care for those who are most vulnerable in our community. Today, Catherine’s provides 6,500 comprehensive primary medical, behavioral health, dental, and health promotion/disease prevention services annually. Our namesake, Catherine McAuley, lived in the late 1700s and established the Sisters of Mercy. She dedicated her life to serving the poor, and we are inspired by her example of selflessness and solidarity. We serve the community through the generosity of those who share our belief that no one should have to choose between life's necessities and basic medical care.

Jen VanEe is that someone. As a brand strategist and Founder of Wright Touch, she started a personal blog documenting her breast cancer journey, which ultimately turned into her nonprofit, One Tough T***y .

Jen understood one thing: cancer doesn't just affect your body, it drains your finances, your emotions, your self-esteem, and your mental well-being. Her mission? To create a community in West Michigan where every woman can access the help she needs to fight back.

At Catherine's, we are firm believers in transparency...and also in the concept of "better late than never." With both of those things in mind, we present our 2025 Annual Report!

(No, the '25 isn't a typo, but when your one-person development team goes on maternity leave right when annual reports usually come out, you shuffle some things around.) Anyway, we're really grateful for the partnership, collaboration, and community engagement that allowed us to provide healthcare to so many people in 2025, and in a few short months we'll be able to report on how that work has expanded in 2026. Thank you for partnering with us in such meaningful ways!

The courtyard garden at Harrison Park Academy has been a special collaborative project between Catherine's school staff, scholars, and local community members. We got to share it with our neighbors this past week and, despite the rain, we are so proud of the space and the opportunities it will provide for years to come!
