The Hospital Mental Health Multidisciplinary Team is conducting an outreach programme aimed at raising awareness about mental health and promoting mental well-being.

Through this initiative, educational pamphlets are distributed and valuable information is shared with community members to increase awareness, encourage early help-seeking, and promote a better understanding of mental health conditions.

By educating our communities, challenging stigma, and encouraging open conversations, we can create a more informed and supportive society.

Protect children from exposure and seek medical advice if you are concerned. Lead poisoning can affect brain development, learning, behaviour, hearing and growth.

As part of National School Health Awareness Week, the Gauteng Department of Health together with the Gauteng Department of Education and other stakeholders, is providing free health screenings at schools across Gauteng. Services include vision, hearing, oral health, nutrition, mental health, TB screening, immunisation, deworming, and referral support to help learners stay healthy and succeed in their education.
