Behind Oppistal & Die Stal Ministry is a woman with muddy boots, a kind heart, endless determination, and probably a few things on her to-do list. ☕🐴

Yolanda Steyn is the kind of person who makes people feel welcome, horses feel understood, and impossible things somehow feel possible. Between early mornings, stable dust, big dreams, and a lot of faith, she’s built more than just businesses — she’s built a community.

The face behind the scenes.
The heart behind the horses.
The drive behind Oppistal & Die Stal. 🤍

🐴 vs 🎓 Horse riding lessons vs equine therapy — they're not the same thing.

Here's the key difference:

🏇 Horse riding lessons → learn a skill, build technique
💛 Equine therapy → heal, grow, and transform

In equine therapy, horses aren't tools for sport — they're partners in your emotional and psychological journey.

Horses naturally respond to our nervous system. They sense our anxiety, our avoidance, our authenticity — and they reflect it back without judgment.

This is why equine therapy creates breakthroughs that traditional therapy sometimes can't reach.

Our Wellness Week uses horses as co-therapists. It's experiential, powerful, and unlike anything you've tried before.

🙅 No riding experience? No problem — and that's not just a saying.

One of the biggest myths about equine therapy is that you need to ride horses. The truth:

❌ No riding required
❌ No equestrian background needed
❌ No special physical ability necessary

✅ All you need is a willingness to show up

Most equine-assisted therapy work happens ON THE GROUND. You lead, you observe, you connect — and the horse reflects back what you need to see.

It's not about horsemanship. It's about self-awareness.

Our Wellness Week is designed for beginners and non-riders. Everyone is welcome.

HAPPY MOTHERSDAY

Sometimes, we as mothers also need time out to fill our cups.

⏰ "How often do I need equine therapy to see results?"

Great question — and here's why our Wellness Week format is so powerful:

Instead of one session every few weeks, our immersive week gives you DAILY engagement with horses. This concentrated experience accelerates breakthroughs that might otherwise take months.

Consistency is key in any healing journey. Our programme gives you:
🐴 Daily experiential sessions
🌿 Guided reflection & integration
🤝 Community support
📖 Tools to continue your growth at home

One week can shift what years haven't.
