What if you didn’t have to work so hard on yourself?

We’re so accustomed to doing.

Looking after others. Managing responsibilities. Trying to understand ourselves, improve ourselves, work through whatever life brings our way.

Sometimes even our wellbeing becomes another thing on the to-do list.

But what if, just for a moment, you didn’t have to do anything?

One of the things I love most about energy healing is creating a space where you can simply be.

No judgement. No shame. No expectations of what should happen.

Nothing you need to hide, explain or justify. Nothing you need to fix.

Just a space of safety, interest and curiosity.

And it’s within this space that something beautiful can begin to unfold.

I call it the art of the possible.

Every session is different. Sometimes there’s a profound sense of peace. Sometimes a new understanding emerges. And sometimes there’s a moment of awe as someone recognises something within themselves they hadn’t seen before.

I think of it as their divine spark.

Not something I’ve given them. Something that was already there.

And perhaps that’s the beauty of allowing.

You don’t have to work so hard to become something more. Sometimes you simply need the space to reconnect with what is already within you.

Move from effort into receiving.

✨ If this resonates with you, I'd love to welcome you for a one-to-one energy healing session, in Freshwater or online.

A little Qigong, a lot of benefits! 🌊

Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese practice combining gentle movement, breath and focused awareness.

And while the movements may look gentle, don’t underestimate their benefits!

Research suggests regular Qigong practice can support balance, mobility, cardiovascular health, sleep and emotional wellbeing.

It’s a wonderful way to invest in your health without always having to push harder.

And there’s plenty of room for a little fun along the way! 💚

Curious to experience Qigong for yourself?

Join me in Freshwater or online. No experience necessary.

Well, after all this time sharing bits of my world through Bloom, I thought it might be nice to share a little more about me. 😊

It’s been quite a journey getting here. Different countries, different careers, some rather unusual experiences, plenty of love and laughter, and some profound lessons along the way.

And I’m still learning, questioning, exploring and discovering new things about myself.

So here I am — a little mystical, a lot human. ✨

I hope you enjoy getting to know me a little better. ❤️

What happens when we stop moving through nature with somewhere to get to — and simply allow ourselves to be there? 🌿

At the first Way Back to Self in September, we walked through the bush in silence. We listened. We noticed. We spent time on the sandstone rock, practised Qigong and then sat together in meditation.

One of the women told me afterwards that when she is normally in nature, she is running or hiking — watching her distance, pace or time.

That morning felt different.

Ease. Noticing. Being. Appreciating.

And when we eventually sat down, she found her meditation was much deeper than usual.

I think that’s because the meditation had begun long before we closed our eyes.

On Friday 20 November, we’ll gather at Red Hill Reserve to do it again.

Nature. Silence. Qigong. Meditation. Reflection. And tea together at the end, with the first cup offered back to the land.

✨ FIELD NOTES | SPIRITUAL EDITION

An unexpected journey through time…

The other night, I had quite an extraordinary experience with my spirit team.

A journey through time, a rather unexpected encounter with a dinosaur (from the perspective of a dung beetle! 😂), and ultimately, a completely different way of understanding Source.

I’m sharing this simply because I find these experiences fascinating. They often challenge what I think I know and open up entirely new ways of seeing things.

And perhaps that’s what these Spiritual Field Notes are about. Sharing the experiences, the questions and the discoveries along the way.

No need to have it all figured out.

Just exploring. ✨

I’d love to hear what this brings up for you.

Field Notes #3 | Energy Edition 🌿

When anger loses its grounding.

I’ve been noticing how quickly anger can erupt around us lately. And I’ve been noticing frustration arising within myself, too.

In Chinese medicine, spring is associated with the Wood element and the Liver, whose spirit, the Hun, holds our capacity for vision, imagination and possibility.

I particularly love this aspect of the Hun. That even when we’re caught in the intensity of an emotion, another path may be available to us.

Anger itself isn’t the enemy. Nor is suppressing it the answer.

But how we navigate our emotions matters. What begins within us can ripple outward, affecting those around us.

For this Field Note, I wanted to share the reflections through my voice as well as my words. There’s something about speaking a message that feels different from simply writing it.

An invitation to become still, to listen within, and to consider what we’re contributing to the collective.

Because we may not control the anger around us, but we can take responsibility for what we bring to it.

With love,
Claire 💚🐉

We’re going back. 🌿

After our first Way Back to Self morning at Red Hill Reserve in September, I knew this was something I wanted to do again.

We walked through the bush in silence. We listened. We noticed what drew our attention. We spent time on the sandstone rock before returning for Qigong, meditation and reflection.

One of the women told me afterwards that when she’s normally out in nature, she’s running or hiking — there are numbers involved. Distance, pace, time.

This morning had felt different.

She described it as ease. Noticing. Being. Appreciating.

And later, she told me that her meditation had felt much deeper than usual.

I don’t think those two things were separate.

By the time we sat down to meditate, we had already spent much of the morning paying attention differently.

The meditation had begun long before we closed our eyes.

So on Friday 20 November, The Way Back to Self returns.

We’ll walk, spend time with the land, practise heart-centred Qigong, meditate and reflect, before finishing together over tea and something homemade.

Sometimes the kindest thing we can do for ourselves is allow ourselves to receive.

I was deeply touched by these words from a client who experienced my Energy Healing work.

Every session is different, but creating a space where someone feels truly seen, heard and supported is always at the heart of what I do.

I’m grateful to be able to offer this work, both in person in Freshwater and online. ❤️

Field Notes #3 | Energy Edition 🌿

I’ve been noticing a lot of anger lately.

Recently, I witnessed frightening road rage on the M1. A car driver was behaving dangerously around a fuel tanker. The tanker driver tried to block him, then sounded his horn. The car driver’s anger erupted — shouting, banging his car — until the tanker driver backed off.

I couldn’t stop thinking about how quickly anger can endanger others.

And I’ve noticed frustration arising in myself, too.

In Chinese medicine, spring belongs to the Wood element and the Liver, which supports the smooth flow of Qi. The Liver’s spirit, the Hun, is associated with vision, imagination and direction.

I love the Hun’s benevolent capacity to see what might be possible beyond the moment. The Shen, housed in the Heart, is our centre of consciousness and wisdom. But when anger consumes us, can we still see another path?

Anger itself isn’t the enemy. It can tell us that something needs attention or change. Nor is suppressing it the answer. Within Chinese medicine, unresolved emotions can create stagnation and dis-ease.

Last week, I woke frustrated, feeling it concentrated in my head. Instead of thinking my way through it, I became still and brought awareness into my body through Reiki. I allowed myself to feel what was there, without judgement.

And something shifted.

We don’t need to deny anger or unleash it on others. We can learn to recognise it, meet it with compassion and inquiry, and allow it to move without becoming consumed by it.

Because our emotions arise within us, but how we express them affects those around us.

We each contribute to the collective. What might change if we became more conscious of what we bring to it?

With love,
Claire 💚🐉

FIELD NOTES — ENERGY EDITION #2 ✨

I’ve been sitting with this idea of “ego death”, and honestly, it doesn’t sit right with me.

We don’t need to kill parts of ourselves to be spiritual or to live a fulfilled life.

Our thinking mind, our personality self, has an important role to play. It helps us navigate our everyday lives.

For me, it’s not about getting rid of the ego. It’s about recognising when we’re operating from our head and remembering to come back to our heart.

And being grateful for both.

Just sharing my perspective and opening up the conversation.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. 💜
