Yesterday I hand delivered an order to this beautiful soul

Not only is a ball of joy surfer girl, she is the best hairdresser specialising in curly hair that I have ever met.

When you step into her beautiful salon, you never want to leave. It reflects the calm excellence of her ‘one to one’ service, a neurodivergent’s dream! (Proof of her excellence, she’s been fully booked for the rest of the year for a while now).

Jax chose the KARTHA blend, a combination of Lavender, Lime, Rosemary and Cedarwood essential oils, in a candle and a reed diffuser.

The KARTHA blend helps cleanse your mind, body, energy and space from negativity, very similar to what it feels like to be in the presence of Jax. She was just the tonic I needed after recovering from a horrible cold this past week and looking after a poorly pooch.

So you may ask why would someone who is already the nemesis of negativity be drawn to THAT blend?

My belief is it will help protect and cleanse her energy (and her clients) as she already unintentionally transmutes any negativity from her clients by just being herself 💙🌊

About MONTOL 🌲

The Montol scent encourages stillness, grounding, surrender, healing, releasing the old, to making space for the new. Connecting to the ancient and bringing the spark of joy and hope with light into the darkness of Winter.

The blend combines Spruce, Juniper Berry, Cedarwood, Frankincense, Myrrh and Orange essential oils, and smells like a walk through woodland and forests.

Originally it was thought that MONTOL meant Winter Solstice in Cornish, but later they found a different translation in some old text. However MONTOL is still the name given to the Penzance festival that celebrates the Winter Solstice.

It’s the little things.

All our glass is REAL amber glass, so it can be recycled over and over again, unlike sprayed glass.

Our wraps are made from 100% recycled material waste.
And our labels are made from sugar cane (by 𝙴𝚛𝚊𝚎 𝙲𝚛𝚊𝚏𝚝𝚜).

All our products are hand crafted in small batches, as and when needed.

We may not be the flashiest looking brand, but it’s because we care about how our actions can have an impact, no matter how small.

I confess, with my AuDHD energy bandwidth, when some life challenges come up, social media is the first to fall by the wayside (sorry!), even if everything else continues to tick along in the background.

This summer has been all about dog nursing after a big leg operation. As difficult as it was to put everything on hold, I always find there is something gained from testing times. I feel lucky that I was able to take that time away, put things into perspective and accept my limitations as a ND business owner.

The good news is that his recovery is going brilliantly and I am no longer delirious from lack of sleep. I am excited to gradually get back to normal life (my dog’s attachment and partial blindness anxiety is currently through the roof, any advice welcome) and start showing up here again.

I’d like to start sharing more about my kinesiology and emotional/ energy work here too. As uncomfortable as I feel being on social media, I want to help/ support people more, so it’s time to put my big girl pants on!
So I hope you’ll join me on my big girl pants journey 🤗🤍
