It’s Samhain season: the veil is thin and it’s the end of the witch’s year. We welcome the dark time of the Calleach and look forward to Yule and the coming of the light.
For some it’s Halloween 🎃, spooky season 👻, a time for trick or treat, guising or ‘Cheevy’ night. Whatever you choose, have fun

Today is the 10/10 portal: a day when one door closes and another opens. Leave behind what no longer serves you and open your heart to something that does.

Use this affirmation: I deserve all good things that come my way and welcome what the universe will bring me.

It’s also a new moon 🌚 and time to think about what you want for the witchy year ahead, remembering that the witchy year ends at Samhain on 31st October. Time for me to change my altar as the wheel of the year turns.

I’ve got a lovely simmer pot on the hob: apple, orange, lemon, with pears from the garden, and aromatic spices- cloves, cinnamon sticks, star anise, mint and rosemary. I’ll light some candles later.

Autumn shambles

I love crafting and on a wet Autumn Sunday I’ve spent some time making shambles. These are made with fallen twigs/ branches that are decorated with leaves, berries, flowers, whatever you find. Preferably things that have fallen already but if you do pick things, do it sparingly and thank the tree/ bush/ plant. Only pick what you know and remember you can’t pick wild flowers.
I used some bought dried flowers I’ve had in the house for a while to supplement my foraged items. Hope you like them 🍁🍂❤️
