Focus on… Aromatherapy
As a relaxation aid, aromatherapy can be used stand alone, in a diffuser or warming stone, or paired with a complementary therapy such as reflexology, massage or Indian head massage where it is applied to the skin within an appropriate carrier oil.
It can be used to enhance non-topical treatments such as reiki, meditation or hypnotherapy by creating an ambience for the treatment.
As a qualified and insured aromatherapy practitioner, I take a case history which includes current medications, state of mind, physical issues and fragrance preferences before I begin to think about your blend.
This enables me to ensure complete safely for my client and provides the best aromatherapy experience and outcome.
Your particular signature oil can be made of up to three carefully chosen essential oils, co-created to support your wellbeing on the day and beyond, any remaining oil can be formulated into a roller ball, bath oil or inhaler stick.
I use some of the less-well-known essential oils, to provide you with a personal blend to suit your needs.
So, when you see aromatherapy being offered by someone, check if they are qualified and insured; whether they are aware of contraindications, medication interactions and essential oil safety.
Consider yourself involved in the process, so that your aromatherapy session is as unique as you are.
