I know it's a lot easier said than done, but one of the things that usually helps me is remembering I won't feel this way forever. Even that's hard, because it does feel like we feel like this forever sometimes. A reel from a friend, a video call, a nice hot shower, whatever little thing(s) it takes to get you through it.
We constantly have to fight our own brain and battle our thoughts and it gets exhausting. Sometimes I feel like my brain is broken all I can hear are the rattling pieces and they get really loud.
It's hard, especially when there isn't a lot of responses to help. Much easier said than done, but one foot in front of the other. One hour, one day at a time.
Eventually, things will get better

In these situations the most important thing is to stay calm. Nothing gets resolved by ending up on a no fly list or jail. As frustrating as it can be, as ridiculous as it can be, just stay calm. It’s the best way to get a positive resolution to any situation.

A lot of folks think having a stoma equals the death of intimacy but it doesn’t. It’s just another part of you, and having a stoma doesn’t change the amazing person that you are.

No this isn’t me telling yall to go bald, but if you’ve also had to consider it like I did it’s not the worst thing in the world. I’m sure what’s left of my hair will be black by the weekend lol

My PMDD has also been really really bad the last four-ish months, and hot flashes routinely kick my ass so it’s been a real game changer in keeping cool. Since I did this in October right before winter I’ll have to add plenty of beanies to my already massive hat collection🧢🤣
