The event may be over for another year, but we wanted to share a look back at The Spinal Health Clinics’ time at Run Reigate.

Our team was there supporting runners, families and everyone taking part, with sports massages and complimentary spine and posture checks available throughout the day.

It was a great opportunity to get out into the community, meet so many people and be part of the event.

We’re proud to share that our very own Doctor of Chiropractic Hiro recently had the opportunity to work at the IFAF Flag Football World Championships 2026 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Hiro provided hands-on care throughout the championships, bringing his clinical experience into an international sporting environment.

It’s always great to see members of our team taking their skills beyond the clinic, learning from new experiences and working alongside people from around the world.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗦 𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘: 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗢𝗗𝗬’𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗢

It might not wear a cape, but the vagus nerve has an impressive job.

Running from the brainstem through the neck and into the chest and abdomen, the vagus nerve helps your brain communicate with several important areas of your body.

It’s a key part of the parasympathetic nervous system – often associated with our “rest and digest” functions – and is involved in processes including heart rate, breathing and digestion.

Think of it as one of the body’s important communication pathways, working quietly behind the scenes every day.

And while you may see claims online about ways to “reset” the vagus nerve, the reality is more complex. There’s no single trick or exercise that can reset your nervous system.

Understanding how your body works is a great place to start.

£115 raised for Mid Sussex Hockey Club! 🏑💛

At Run Reigate, our team from Horley Spinal Health, Crawley Spinal Health Chiropractic and Guildford Spinal Health offered massages to runners and donated the money raised to the Mid Sussex Hockey club. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported the fundraiser and helped us give something back to local sport.
