From Survival to Embodied Living 🌿

Dancer | Somatic & PSYCH-K® Facilitator

🌷Small moments that help us remember what it feels like to be alive🐝

⭐️Where old patterns soften and new ways emerge⭐️ I’ve lived an embodied life for many years and continue healing and transforming my health by connecting to what I eat and listening deeply to my body’s wisdom. My healing experience comes from the curative power of nature: nourishing food, somatic movement, dance, yoga, plant medicines, breathwork, PSYCH-K and meditation. Through food, movement, and creative expression, I create safe, welcoming spaces where we can honour all that we are .... our joy and sorrow, hope and hopelessness, dreams and disappointments. I also work as a PSYCH-K® facilitator, supporting people to gently shift subconscious beliefs that may be holding them back. Using simple, effective processes, PSYCH-K works with the mind–body connection to help create change at a deep level. Combining PSYCH-K with nutrition and somatic movement can release and transform held trauma and old patterns at a deep level. My approach is intuitive, compassionate, and client-led, creating a safe space for insight, balance, and lasting transformation. My work is about reconnecting you to your aliveness, that juicy, deep, rich knowing that lives in the body. Feeling fully expressed and alive is not a luxury it’s something to be celebrated and welcomed. I also craft holistic superfood-rich, raw ceremonial cacao ceremonies bringing blessing and sacred intent to ceremonies, ritual, workshops, and one-to-one sessions. Do get in touch for any further information. About PSYCH-k:

Wowzers 🙏🙏🙏

A deeply transformative weekend exploring the four kinetic animal archetypes in Biodanza with Antonio Sarpe.

Dancing these archetypes wasn’t just about movement, it was about holding up a mirror to where I surrender, where I hold back, and where my edges lie.

Each animal carries its profound gift, but also its shadow.

• The Tiger • Courage and sharp instinct—balancing power without aggression.
• The Hippo • Pure visceral bliss and being—learning to rest without stagnating.
• The Heron • Transcendent perspective—flying high without bypassing our grounded human body.
• The Snake • Earthy magnetism and seduction—owning our primal desire and light.

It’s hard to put the magic of this container into words, but I am so grateful to share this journey with such a beautiful tribe. 🐍🦛🐅🪶

Feeling so much gratitude to everyone who joined us today for our Harvest dance.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for coming together to celebrate the fruits of our lives, the wonderful summer, and the abundance of harvest, to honor all that we’ve cultivated, while gently meeting what is falling away and what we are letting go of.
🍁🍁🍁🍁

It was so beautiful to share a space where simply being human is welcome. Witnessing courage, emotions, smiles, playfulness, tears, big hearts, and complete acceptance... thank you for dancing, for feeling, and for being utterly, unashamedly human.

With love

Standing at a Threshold 🌿

What does it really mean to live with awareness when the ground beneath you disappears?

After years of deep inner work, healing, curiosity, questioning my patterns, and finding what felt like a solid foundation, I thought I was standing on firm ground. 🌀

And then life threw a wave of curveballs, all at once! Letting go of a connection where love couldn't land. A fever leaving my body depleted. An upcoming medical procedure to prepare for. And now, three months' notice to leave my home and find somewhere new to live.

Suddenly, so much of what has felt safe and familiar is shifting at the same time.

My mind, doing what minds do, has gone straight to its oldest, worst-case survival stories: scarcity, lack, disaster, even homelessness.

But when I pause and look back over life, I recognise something else, too. My lived experience has repeatedly brought me synchronicities, the right people, and unexpected grace, often when I've needed them most.

I don't want to bypass this hurt with neat spiritual ideas, nor do I want to judge myself for feeling vulnerable.

Perhaps awareness involves recognising how little control we really have over life. Things happen that we didn't choose and couldn't have predicted. Sometimes they shake us to the core.

Maybe living with awareness isn't about avoiding the shake.
Maybe it's about meeting whatever arrives, fully and honestly, while remaining curious about the stories the mind creates around it.

It's my birthday in two weeks, and turning 65 feels deeply significant right now.

I feel as though I'm walking through a threshold. I don't know what's next.

There's an unfamiliar path opening in front of me, and I have no idea what it will look like.

For now, I'm willing to stay present as much as I can, to trust, and to be with life as it unfolds, as the old structures shift and something new begins to take shape.

To be continued… 🤍

CAN I LOVE YOU AND STILL WALK AWAY ?

I'm curious about human connection.

And more recently, I've become curious about non-duality...

The possibility that, beneath our experience of being separate, there is no fundamental separation between you and me.

So what does that actually mean when it comes to human relationships?

If there is no fundamental separation, what does it mean to walk away from someone?

And more than that…

What does it mean to say, “You hurt me”?

I'm not sure I know the answer.

"At the level of my human experience, I can absolutely feel hurt. I can feel anger, grief, disappointment and fear. Another person's words, choices or behaviour can affect my body and my experience".

But if there is no separate “you” and “me” in the way I usually imagine them, then what am I actually walking away from?

Perhaps I'm not walking away from you at all.

Perhaps I'm choosing not to participate in a behaviour that doesn't feel aligned with how I want to live.

And perhaps those are two very different things.

I don't have to make you wrong.

I don't have to decide that you're toxic, bad, selfish, or the villain in my story.

I can simply recognise what happens when our particular human patterns meet.

There's a fire in front of me.

I can love fire.

I can be fascinated by fire.

I can recognise its beauty and its power.

And I can still take my hand away when it burns.

Taking my hand away doesn't mean I've rejected the fire.

It means I've noticed what happens when I put my hand in it.

So I'm left with this question:

Can I love somebody completely, recognise our fundamental non-separation, and still choose to leave because of a behaviour that hurts me?

Perhaps I can.

But I'm exploring it.

And maybe that's the point.

I don't have the answer, just a question I'm sitting with. 🌿🔥

The Grounded Reality of Integration

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the difference between awareness and integration.

We live in a world increasingly fascinated by self-development, consciousness, nervous-system regulation and high-vibe language. There is a course, workshop or modality for almost everything.

And there is nothing wrong with any of that.

But I’m learning that awareness without practice can become a performance.

The real test of growth isn’t how conscious we can sound when everything feels good. It isn’t what we understand in a powerful workshop, or what we can articulate in a deep conversation.

For me, it is what happens afterwards.

How do I behave when something becomes uncomfortable?

Can I stay present when I would rather withdraw?

Can I acknowledge another person when there is nothing in it for me?

Can I take responsibility when I have caused hurt?

Can I honour the agreements I have made?

Can I recognise when something is no longer reciprocal or in alignment, and respond honestly rather than simply disappearing?

That is where integration becomes real.

I’m also learning that self-reflection alone isn’t necessarily growth. I can understand my patterns, know where they came from, regulate my nervous system and become beautifully articulate about my inner world, but if my behaviour doesn’t change, something important is missing.

For me, grounded growth is becoming less about endlessly working on myself and more about living what I already know.

It means noticing the old patterns without allowing them to run the show.

It means taking responsibility for my own behaviour without taking responsibility for somebody else’s.

It means having compassion without abandoning discernment.

And it means recognising that boundaries, standards and self-respect aren't signs that I've become less loving.

Sometimes they are evidence that I have finally learned how to love myself without leaving myself behind.

High standards aren't aggressive.

They are often just the baseline for healthy human connection.

And perhaps the deepest integration is this:

What we practise in our personal development needs to become visible in the messy, uncomfortable reality of our lives.

That is where the work becomes real.

Words will never fully capture the magic of this weekend at Biodanza Bristol. 🌿✨
Two years of journeying together, and the closeness, freedom, and sensuality we touched into was breathtaking. Pure aliveness, deep love, sexiness, and an abundance of pleasure.❤️🩷

Filthy feet, clean hearts, and total freedom—honestly, I never want to live any other way. My heart is completely overflowing. ❤️🔥🐾

Sometimes the most potent days catch us completely off guard.
Although I’d been so mindful of the Equinox over the weekend, I woke up today completely caught in the practical noise, navigating digital chaos, dental visits, juggling money and an old wave of mental stories and patterns that kept surfacing.
☀️☀️
By midday, my system was completely dysregulated.

Normally, I’d force myself to the gym to work it off. But today, I knew what I actually needed. I couldn’t face any more noise or stimulation. My soul just said no🔥

I needed to be in nature ..
🦅🦉💚🍂

So I went to my allotment, ate some food, and just sat in the warm sun..

Then I went for a long walk through the fields, surrounded by nature in absolute abundance..birds of prey, dragonflies, squirrels and pheasants all meeting me right where I was.
🦅🦉🦨🦋🍁🍂🌀
I let my emotions move through my body. I let old memories bubble up, felt the fire, felt the stillness, and just kept walking—allowing the earth to hold space for all of it
🔥🔥
We often talk about the Equinox being about balance, but balance isn't always sitting in quiet meditation.🌀
Sometimes balance means honouring the fire when it rises.🔥
Dropping the external noise. Listening to what your body is actually asking for. And allowing the earth to reset your nervous system on your own terms.☀️

The Equinox is a threshold too, a bridge into a new season and a new cycle.🌀🌀
And perhaps today, without even realising it, I found my way across it.🌀
Wishing you all a grounded transition as we step into this next cycle together. Happy Equinox. 🍂✨
