LIFT Music will be speaking at the BAMT Conference 2026, taking place online on 21st–22nd November!

This year’s theme, Music Therapy in a Changing Landscape, is a fantastic opportunity to connect, share ideas, explore innovation and reimagine the future of music therapy. With an exciting programme featuring keynote events, presentations, workshops, creative sessions and roundtable discussions, we’re really looking forward to being part of these conversations and sharing our work with the music therapy community.

We’ve been awarded a grant through the Horn Park & Middle Park Community Voting Day for our project, LIFT Music and Movement for Mind and Body.

🙏 We’re grateful to the local community for supporting the project, which will enable us to deliver LIFT music and movement workshops for older people in Horn Park and Middle Park, particularly those who may face barriers to taking part in social and stimulating activities due to age or reduced mobility.

LIFT Music enables people to create music through movement, with activities adapted to individual abilities and no previous musical experience needed.

We also made some valuable local connections on the day, including with Horn Park and Middle Park community centres, and look forward to exploring opportunities to work together to deliver the workshops locally.

Thank you to everyone who voted for our project and helped make this possible.

Music, inclusion and a fantastic venue! 🎶

Last Thursday we spent the day at the Royal Albert Hall for the Tri-Borough Music Hubs SEND and Inclusion Conference, alongside TiME - Technology in Music Education UK, meeting people who are passionate about making music accessible to every student.

We had the chance to demonstrate LIFT Music and show how movement can become music, giving students different ways to explore sound, express themselves and take part in music-making.

Thank you to and the Tri-Borough Music Hubs for bringing everyone together and to everyone who stopped by to see LIFT in action!
