✨ BIG CHANGES ARE COMING TO THE AESTHETICS INDUSTRY! ✨

The government has announced proposals for tighter regulations surrounding aesthetic treatments in England, with a much greater focus on patient safety, professional qualifications and accountability.

Under the proposals, certain high-risk treatments would only be performed by appropriately qualified healthcare professionals, with some procedures requiring CQC registration.

There are also separate plans to introduce licensing for treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers.

These changes are still being developed and are not yet law.

As a registered nurse working in medical aesthetics, I welcome measures that raise standards and help protect patients. 🤍
