I’ve been a bit quiet on here this past week because we’ve had some really lovely family time. My eldest daughter Lily graduated👩🎓I’m so incredibly proud of her, and I’ve really enjoyed just being present and enjoying it all 💖
Now my focus turns back to work, and one of the things I really want to talk more about this week is The Whole You Series, because the first workshop starts next Wednesday 🙌
The reason I created these workshops is actually really simple.
I am genuinely fed up of seeing wellbeing statements everywhere that tell us what we should be doing, but rarely explain what that actually means in real life.
Regulate your nervous system.
Change your beliefs.
Listen to your body.
Raise your vibration.
Manifest what you want.
I don’t think these ideas are wrong. In fact, I think a lot of them can be really helpful.
But when there’s no explanation of how, why, or what you’re actually meant to do with that information, they can just become another list of things we feel we should be doing better.
And the last thing any of us need is more pressure in our lives in the name of wellbeing 🙄
So that’s really what The Whole You Series is about.
Taking some of the mystery away. Making things easier to understand. Bringing it into real life. And actually learning more about why we think, feel and react the way we do.
The first workshop is next Wednesday, 7 October:
Regulate Your Nervous System… But Why?
We’ll look at what regulation actually means, why your nervous system responds the way it does, and why constantly being told to “regulate” isn’t always the whole answer.
I’ll be talking much more about the series this week, but this is really where it all started for me.
If you’ve ever heard one of these wellbeing phrases and thought, “Okay… but what does that actually mean?” then this series is for you.
