FREE suitability/safety assessment. Unfortunately, not everybody can safely have HBOT safely. Here at JOTC we’ll check you’re okay to have HBOT, so it’s much safer, and we won’t charge you for the assessment.

💙 Support after cancer treatment matters, too.

Radiotherapy to the pelvis can sometimes cause lasting bladder problems, including pain, urgency and needing to pass urine frequently.

Research offers encouraging news: a five-year follow-up of the RICH-ART study found that improvements in bladder symptoms after hyperbaric oxygen therapy were sustained over time.

The findings concern radiation-related bladder damage—not treatment of cancer itself. Responses vary, and specialist assessment is needed to decide whether this treatment is appropriate.

If you’re experiencing persistent bladder symptoms after radiotherapy, speak to your cancer team or urologist about the treatment options available.

When we think about physical disabilities, our minds often immediately picture mobility aids like wheelchairs, crutches, or walking sticks. However, a vast spectrum of physical conditions remains hidden beneath the surface. From chronic fatigue and neurological disorders to persistent pain and cognitive processing challenges, millions of people live with conditions that are entirely invisible to the casual observer.
To bring much-needed awareness, education, and validation to these experiences, Invisible Disabilities Week takes place this year from 18 - 24 October. Founded by the Invisible Disabilities Association, this vital annual event serves as a platform to honour those living with hidden illnesses, debunk the harmful "but you look fine" myth, and foster a more compassionate, understanding society.
