Final “Meet the Team” series: We have Erica Nicolls, Neurological Pilates Instructor🧘🏼‍♀️.
Erica has taken on the main instructor role for our Jersey Brain Tumour Charity Pilates classes, this year.

Erica started her training at the dance 💃 academy in Rotterdam teaching contemporary and jazz dance. Coming to Jersey in 2004, heading into finance. Leaving in 2015 for her true passion to start Pilates studies in Taunton and Clevedon. Erica worked with a neuro physiotherapist learning both mat and reformer with Parkinson’s, MS and stroke participants. Erica taught at Healthhaus for 2 years which is where we met until going onto her own private venture of her own studio. 🌟 Her biggest career achievement is running my own studio
Erica enjoys ‘client led’ teaching as that allows time to really focus on individual’s needs and how they are feeling on that particular day which is why the JBTC class were a good fit as class size is never more than 12. Erica is keen to continually learn. Erica enjoys the Gym, reading 📖 and playing the flute 🪈.

Meet the Team 🧍‍♀️series…..Tania Le Couilliard, Pink Ribbon Mat & Reformer Pilates Specialist and Owner of TLC Pilates Jsy Ltd.

Tania has brought our newest class option to the team, Pilates on the Reformer. Tania teaches ABC Reformer having her Pink Ribbon Pilates Specialism alongside her comprehensive equipment Pilates training which has been so popular we had to put on more classes. Tania has more recently stepped in, to cover Cat and I when unavailable to teach ABC Fitness which apparently is where her true devilish side comes out 🤣 . Giving the ladies the push they need to improve their overall health and wellbeing 🩷 Tania has been a great addition to the team.

Tania specialises in Pilates whether that be on the mat or reformer and other equipment. Opening her own studio in 2019. Prior to Pilates, Tania previously taught as a PT at Healthhaus which is where I originally met her. Tania’s biggest career achievement is opening her own studio and recently becoming a limited company.

Tania has been nothing but supportive and helpful since joining the team and I hope will continue to be one of our popular classes. When Tania isn’t helping us all, Tania enjoys paddle boarding, surfing 🏄 , skiing ⛷️ and golf ⛳️ . In quieter, less energetic times she loves her wasjig puzzles and cuddling with the cats 🐱.

🧬 Cat Allsopp: Cancer Rehab Specialist, Mat and Reformer Specialist 🧘🏼‍♀️

Cat is the main support system behind myself. Cat swoops in and saves the day by covering classes and consultations whenever I am unable to. Cat has worked with me for almost 8 years. 🦸‍♀️

Cat brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from her time in Yorkshire, where she established a cancer-specific Nordic Walking Group and delivered specialist exercise classes with Yorkshire Cancer Research. With 20 years of experience supporting exercise referral clients, she is passionate about helping individuals improve their health, wellbeing, and quality of life through physical activity.

One of Cat’s proudest achievements is the Nordic Walking Group she founded in 2015 for the charity Breast Cancer Haven. More than a decade later, the group is still going strong, providing members with opportunities to stay active, build friendships, and support one another. 🚶‍♀️

Cat always has a smile on her face and an empathic approach with participants which is always gratefully received. When Cat isn’t wearing her superwoman cape, she enjoys running. She loves training for half marathons, with Hospice to Hospice being her favourite. Maybe she will try a full marathon at some point – watch this space! She also loves sneaking off for an odd holiday whenever she can! ☀️

Throwback to last Wednesday’s World Cancer Day! ✨I had an article out by telling everyone my story and how I want to help as many islanders as possible. ✨ I was invited to event at the where I met up with other amazing charities and services as shown by having my logo on the same page as all of theirs , and to name a few. I was impressed by who told me all the great service they provide and how to access classes via particular bus links which I hope to share with participants ✨ It was my first time representing as a ambassador with the mission to create awareness about breast cancer and bring to Jersey to inspire others 🩷 Overall a pinch me day where I am just so happy with what I’ve managed to do with the support of charities and all those around me. I look forward to other year helping islanders at a time they need it and continually improve what we offer to you all 😊
