🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: CHELSEA! 🌟
This month, we’re shining the spotlight on our amazing Activities Assistant, Chelsea! 💜
Chelsea’s passion for working with seniors began with her great-grandmother, who had Alzheimer’s. That personal experience inspired her to make a difference in the lives of others, and that’s exactly what she does every day here at Charlotte Stephenson Manor!
❤️ What does Chelsea love most about her job? The JOY that activities bring to our residents! She loves seeing their smiles, hearing their laughter, and knowing she’s making a difference during such an important chapter of their lives. Knowing that she also brings comfort to their families makes her work even more rewarding.
🎲 Her favorite activity? The GIANT Charlotte Stephenson Manor Monopoly game that she created herself! And where does she come up with all these creative ideas? Believe it or not, in the shower! 😂 She says she’ll see something that sparks an idea, and before she knows it, her imagination takes off!
🥰 A moment she’ll never forget? While enthusiastically singing Happy Birthday to a resident who rarely speaks, he surprised everyone by saying, “OK, enough, enough!” 😂 It’s those unexpected moments that make the best memories!
🎡 If money were no object? Chelsea would plan a HUGE carnival for our residents, complete with a petting zoo and all the works!
💜 What have our residents taught her? Patience. And when someone is hesitant to try something new, Chelsea encourages them by promising they’ll have fun and reminding them it’s always worth a try!
🏅 Something you might not know about Chelsea? She once saved a two-year-old child from drowning! Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and playing sports.
When asked to describe her job in three words, Chelsea chose rewarding, fun, and creative!
Chelsea says Charlotte Stephenson Manor feels like family because of the openness, welcoming energy, and sense of safety she feels here. Her biggest hope is that every resident who participates in her activities walks away feeling HAPPY! 💕
Chelsea, your creativity, compassion, energy, and dedication bring so much happiness to our community! You don’t just plan activities. You create memories, build connections, and give our residents something to look forward to.
