I am so excited! I am adding a new feather in my cap as a Licensed Massage Therapist! Not only am I running a successful business (thank you clients! 🫶🏻) and teaching massage therapy, but I will be the closing speaker for the Missouri State Public Defenders wellness retreat! We have a new massage therapist who is working in our office part time! I have known him for several years and he is a very talented and knowledgeable therapist! He is skilled in deep tissue, muscle energy technique (a type of muscle release that incorporates muscle contraction and stretching- it’s legit!), he even provides prenatal! Ryan is just getting back into practicing so he is currently offering 60 minute sessions, but with the type of focus and injury work he does, 60 minutes is perfect! Check him out and give him a try!

Hello to my lovely and amazing clients! I just wanted to give a quick update to let you know that 2027 hours are available for booking online!

That being said, if you've been in to see me in recent months, you'll probably know how much I have been enjoying teaching - I really, really love it! I have the opportunity to be in the classroom a bit more as one of our awesome teachers is stepping down due to moving, so my hours beginning in 2027 and into 2028 will be taking a downward shift. I am VERY excited to be taking on some more teaching, especially as I turned 46 this year and to continue providing the quality of service I do, I'll need to be taking better care of my own body in turn.

As I move forward into this next chapter of my career, I want to say how much joy each of you brings, and if I will be losing a few of you due to my availability (which is most likely to be the case), I want you to continue in your own self care and healing journeys and will be absolutely happy to make a recommendation for a service provider that might fit your schedule and massage needs!

I hope this message finds you well! I wanted to inform you of some updates here at Body Balance Therapeutic Massage. Effective May 1st, there will be a slight adjustment in session pricing. 30 minute appointments will increase by $5 while 60 and 90 minute sessions will increase by $10.

Additionally, my students are taking clients for their clinical hours for the month of April! They are both talented and have a great career ahead of them. Please let me know if you would like the link for booking a session with them, the more practice they get the better they will become!

As many of you are aware, I have been teaching at COMOIMB for the evening class for massage therapy.😊 My students will be doing their clinical hours during the month of April and the booking schedule is now live! I am REALLY proud of them and how much they have grown in their training and would love for them to get as much experience as possible before they graduate 👩‍🎓. Happy Holidays everyone!

Body Balance Therapeutic Massage will be closed from December 24th-28th, as well as New Year’s Day - I hope everyone has a lovely holiday season!

Beginning the week of January 12th, my hours will be shifting to accommodate my teaching schedule! I’ll be in office Tue-Sat rather than Mon-Fri and will be offering afternoon hours rather than evening availability.

As I move forward into my new role, I’ll be a lot more protective of my downtime. In the past I’ve been open to “squeezing people in”, even on my days off. While I am SO excited to start teaching, it does mean that I will be sticking to whatever availability that is on my website. If you’re not able to see any availability for booking, I will be happy to add you to my waitlist as well as make a recommendation for another therapist so you can still have the therapeutic care that your body needs! I am lucky to be sharing an office with an amazing group of LMTs and would gladly recommend any one of them!

2025 was a very challenging year with lots of change, including the loss of my mom. If I learned anything from her, it was to live your life unapologetically and to the fullest - whatever that definition means for each person. This is my resolution for 2026.
