Fit For Life and Health Medicare Insurance Broker | Nutrition Coach | Personal Trainer | Integrative Health Coach We live in a world of constant comparison and judgment.

My heart's greatest passion is to do meaningful and life-changing work, helping women to feel strong, healthy, sexy and badass no matter what age they are facing. I want to inspire a positive mindset and a life of adventure, love and meaning to all who cross paths with me. As a teenager and a young adult, I often felt like I wasn't good enough, beautiful enough, accepted by those around me or desired in any way. Those feelings of insecurity followed me into my 30s, into motherhood even, until one day I realized I couldn't and wouldn't spend one more minute hiding the woman God had created me to be. I was in my early 40s when I finally broke free from the chains of all of those negative voices and never looked back. Not only was that a gift to me to be able to fully and unapologetically shine my light to the world, but it was an enormous gift to my children as well - to be able to know who their mother truly is and who they truly are as well. No woman should feel inadequate, unlovable, or not good enough. My hope is to help the women I coach fully recognize their talent, beauty, purpose, energy, personality and badassery! God created you for a reason. Shine your authentic and true light proudly! Live a healthy, fit and active life so you CAN be your best self and feel good in all the things you choose to do. It's a mindset shift, and once you figure that out... the rest of your journey towards happiness and good health will be so much easier.

Life’s too short for crappy food, toxic people, and boring workouts.
Feed your body with food that makes you feel alive.
Surround yourself with people who match your energy — not drain it.
And train like you actually give a damn about the life you’re building.
You get one body. One shot.
Make it strong. Make it count. 💪🔥

Here’s a Medicare detail that can catch people by surprise: your Annual Wellness Visit is different from a routine physical.

The wellness visit focuses on creating or updating your personalized prevention plan based on your health and risk factors.

You pay nothing for this visit when your provider accepts Medicare assignment. However, additional tests or services during that appointment may come with a charge.

Before your appointment, ask the office what visit you’re scheduled for and whether any additional services could involve a cost.

Taking care of your health includes understanding your benefits and knowing what questions to ask. 💙

Save this reminder for your next appointment, or share it with someone who might find it helpful!

Your health hasn’t changed. Your medications haven’t changed. So your Medicare plan should still be a good fit next year… right?

It’s worth taking a closer look! 🔎

Medicare Advantage and prescription drug plans can change their costs and coverage each year. Your Annual Notice of Change explains what will be different in January.

That’s why I encourage you to review your coverage even if you’ve been happy with your plan.

An annual review doesn’t mean you HAVE to switch. It means taking the time to understand what’s changing and whether your coverage still fits your needs.

Have that notice sitting in a pile of mail? Dig it out, and we can walk through it together.

Send me a message or call me at 724-241-7792 to schedule your Medicare plan review. 💙

❤️ Medicare Plan Reviews… Make It a Family Affair! ❤️

Here’s an idea that I absolutely love!

Why not gather several family members together in one home so everyone can review their Medicare coverage during one convenient visit? Mom, Dad, spouses, siblings, in-laws… everyone gets a turn! 😊

If you have parents, siblings, in-laws, or other loved ones who could benefit from a Medicare plan review, let’s make a day of it!

I’ll set aside extra time to meet with each person individually, so everyone receives the personal attention they deserve. In between appointments, you can enjoy quality family time together while taking turns sitting down with me.

There’s no need for everyone to schedule separate visits on different days!

Medicare coverage isn’t one-size-fits-all. What works well for one person may not be the best fit for someone else. That’s why I take the time to review each individual’s needs, prescriptions, doctors, and coverage options.

With Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period happening now, it’s a great time to help make sure you and your loved ones are prepared for 2027!

Family time and a little peace of mind? Sounds like a win to me! ❤️

📩 Email or call me if you’d like to coordinate a family Medicare review day. I’d love to help!

Plan reviews are individual and private. Each person can choose whether they’d like to review their coverage, and no one is obligated to make changes.

There are a lot of "influencers" out there in social media. Be careful about getting sucked in on nutrition, fitness and lifestyle advice from people who haven't been professionally trained. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.
Just because someone creates a bunch of FB or IG reels of them at the gym working out or in their kitchen making food, and they also happen to have a body you wish you had, doesn't make them an expert on what YOUR BODY needs. There's so much more to getting healthy and losing weight than following a flashy influencer who puts on a good show.

Here's some important facts about women's health, fitness and weight loss:

1. You need the mindset to make a non-negotiable commitment to yourself. If you don't have a strong mindset around the choices you make for your weight, for your health and for your longevity, then I promise you, that influencer you're watching in FB reels isn't likely to help you change your mindset. Someone who is trained in behavior change CAN help you with that.

2. You need to know what your specific calorie/macro needs are based on your goals, your age, your current weight, your current fitness level, the level of working out you'll be doing, and so on... A digital creator or "influencer" isn't going to know what YOU need unless they've got some professional credentials.

3. You need to have a workout program that takes you from where you are right now, and gradually progresses you over time, to where you ultimately want to be. Saving random workouts you see a fitness influencer doing in TikTok or Instagram and doing them every so often isn't enough to see your body change for the better. It's only delaying the results you could be enjoying if you worked with a trained professional.

4. Nutrition is a complex and very controversial subject. One persons food is another persons poison. What works well for one person may or may not work well for you. Following the online influencer isn't necessarily going to change your cholesterol levels, fill in your nutritional gaps, help you to lose weight safely and sustainably, resolve your imbalanced gut microbiome, or balance your hormones. Working with a trained professional CAN fix those things for you.

So, just keep a solid perspective on things when you're getting sucked into the scroll. Hundreds of thousands of followers and views does not make someone an expert. Don't let yourself end up sick or injured by getting sucked in. 😘

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Social Security Benefits Will Increase 3.6% in 2027

The Social Security Administration has announced a 3.6% cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for 2027, the largest increase in four years.

There is still one important piece of the puzzle we’re waiting on. Medicare Part B premiums and deductibles for 2027 have not yet been announced. Those figures are expected in November, and any increase in Part B premiums could offset some of the Social Security increase.

This is also a good reminder that Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period begins October 15 and runs through December 7.

If you’re on Medicare, now is the time to sit down with a knowledgeable, licensed Medicare professional and review your coverage for next year.

Premiums, prescription drug costs, provider networks, and plan benefits can change significantly from one year to the next. A plan that worked well for you in 2026 may not be your best option in 2027.

The objective should always be to find the coverage that meets your healthcare needs at the lowest overall cost, not simply the plan with the lowest monthly premium.

Even if you have no intention of changing plans, an annual review is worth your time. You may find opportunities to save money, improve your coverage, or avoid an unexpected expense next year.

Ladies...it's October. Do you know what that means? It's Breast Cancer Awareness month. Have you had your mammogram this year? If not, make this a priority. Early detection is key!! This post is also to give me the kick in the ass I need to get my mammogram scheduled. I’m about 2 years overdue. 🤦‍♀️🤗
