🎃🐾 TRICK OR TREAT… HAPPY HOWL-O-WEEN! 🐾🎃

Who says a little Dolly Parton sparkle can't brighten someone's day? 💖

Yesterday, Lucy, our Wags for Hope Therapy Dog, dressed up as Dolly Pawton and made a very special Halloween visit to Frederick Health Hospital! With her pink outfit, sweet personality, and plenty of tail wags, Lucy brought a little extra Halloween magic to the hospital.

One of her most special visits was with a wonderful lady everyone lovingly calls Mama Betty. Mama Betty doesn't get out much anymore, so you can imagine what a wonderful surprise it was when Lucy showed up dressed as Dolly Pawton! What a special moment, filled with smiles, laughter, and a little country star magic! 🌸🎶

Sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest difference. Special days and holidays can be especially meaningful in a hospital setting. A friendly face, a furry friend, a silly costume, and a few minutes of companionship can help brighten someone's day, lift spirits, and remind them that they are thought of and cared about.

For Lucy, it's just another day of spreading love, comfort, and happiness one paw at a time. For those she visits, it may become a memory they carry with them long after Halloween is over.

Meet Lucy the Therapy Dog and her adorable young handler! 💕🐶

As part of the fun, this young girl had the opportunity to walk Lucy at a Halloween event, and WOW! Look at them go! 👏🐾

Lucy showed off her amazing skills, discipline, and manners as she listened attentively and walked so gracefully beside her young handler. She made it look effortless! 🌟🐕

It's not just about walking on a leash; it's about teamwork, trust, patience, and communication. Lucy knows her job, and she certainly knows how to make her walking partner look good! ❤️

🎃🐾 Who says therapy dogs can't have a little Halloween fun while showing off their amazing talents?

🐮🐾 WOW! Lucy the Therapy Dog had a BUSY weekend! 💗

On Sunday, October 25th, Lucy headed over to the Frederick Fairgrounds for Cowfest 2026, and this girl was dressed to impress in her adorable COW DRESS! 🐄👗 Talk about a moo-velous outfit! 😂💗

But what exactly is Cowfest? 🐮🎉 Cowfest is a fun-filled community celebration hosted by the Frederick Flying Cows, bringing our community together for an udderly amazing time! This year, the excitement included an attempt to break the world record for the most people wearing cow onesies in a grandstand! 🐄🤍🖤

Lucy wasn't there just to show off her fabulous cow fashion! She joined her Wags for Hope therapy dog teammates, including Teams Maya, Regan, Flynn, Jax, Rosie, and Trapper, to help support this fantastic community event! 🐾❤️

Wags for Hope was thrilled to be part of the fun, spreading smiles, sharing puppy love, and showing everyone how therapy dogs can make any event even more special. From Lucy's stylish cow dress to all the amazing people celebrating together, it was a day to remember! 🐶💗

A HUGE thank-you to the Frederick Flying Cows for welcoming Wags for Hope and giving our therapy dog teams the opportunity to be part of such an incredible community celebration! 🐮👏

🐾💜 Lucy the Therapy Dog with Wags For Hope Supports the Out of the Darkness Walk! 💜🐾

On October 24th, Lucy was honored to join Wags for Hope at the Out of the Darkness Walk at Baker Park in Frederick, Maryland, helping support an important cause and our local community. 💜🐕

Lucy was there to offer comfort, love, and a little extra encouragement to those participating in this meaningful event. Sometimes, a gentle nuzzle, a wagging tail, or a quiet moment with a therapy dog can make a difference when someone needs it most. 🐾❤️

Su***de prevention is important, and no one should ever feel they have to face their struggles alone. Lucy was proud to stand alongside the community to help spread awareness, hope, and compassion.

🐾 Have a dog? Bring your furry friend and join in the fun! Everyone is welcome to come out, cheer on the pups, and enjoy this tail-wagging celebration!

🐾 Lucy the Therapy Dog with Wags For Hope, in partnership with the Thurmont Police Department, had a pawsome time at the Thurmont Fireman's Parade! ❤️

Lucy loved greeting everyone along the parade route, and so many smiling faces enjoyed receiving candy and bracelets! Thank you to everyone who waved, cheered, and helped make it such a fun evening for our favorite heart thief.
