NEWS FLASH: COASTAL STORM ALERT 🚨��With coastal storm conditions impacting the Outer Banks and Currituck County, Mountaineer Home Medical encourages patients who rely on oxygen, ventilators, PAP devices, nebulizers, suction equipment, or other essential DME/respiratory equipment to prepare for possible power outages, flooding, road closures, and travel disruptions.��🌊 Patients & Caregivers:�Please make sure your equipment is charged, backup batteries are ready, and you have adequate supplies on hand. Oxygen-dependent and ventilator-dependent patients should review their emergency backup plan now and follow any evacuation instructions issued by local emergency management.��⚡ If the power goes out:�Use your prescribed backup equipment according to your emergency plan. Never use generators, grills, or other fuel-burning devices inside your home, garage, or other enclosed areas.��🚚 Deliveries & Service:�Severe weather, flooding, high winds, or road closures may affect normal delivery and service routes throughout Currituck and the Outer Banks.
