Follow me for the stuff nobody tells you in perimenopause, said like a friend would. 🤍

Meet me.

Dietitian. Over a decade.

Perimenopausal. Also over a decade, it feels like.

Mom of two who eats to feel good and still loves a night out with the ladies.

Here’s what I do. Most women who find me have already had labs and been told everything is “normal.” They still can’t sleep, their hair is in the drain, and they feel like a stranger in their own body.

I help women make sense of their labs. Not “your number is fine, see you next year.” I want to know why your sleep is broken and why you wake up every night at 3:07 AM.

I run the testing, read it for patterns, and turn it into a plan you can live with. Food, rhythm, support. Nothing that needs a 6am routine and a spreadsheet. You should still be able to enjoy the night out.

I get that this stage is a lot. You don’t have to decode it alone.

Discovery call link is in my bio.

Real answers. Real healing. 🤍 Laura

I get that “everything looks fine” doesn’t match how you feel.

Most of these aren’t random. Each one can trace back to a marker that a standard panel often skips or reads as “in range.” And they don’t work alone. Low ferritin affects thyroid conversion, blood sugar swings drive cortisol, and low progesterone makes sleep fragile. It’s a system, not eight separate problems.

A test can show you the number. It can’t tell you what to eat at 4pm on a Tuesday, or in what order to fix things. That’s the part I do inside Restored, my 16 week 1:1 program, where I run the labs and build the plan around your results.

Comment READY and I’ll send you the next step.

Which one are you?! Drop it in the comments 🎃💀

Comment READY if your labs keep coming back “normal” but your body says otherwise.

Perimenopause changes what your body needs, and a standard panel often doesn’t look at these. These symptoms don’t prove a deficiency. They’re a reason to look closer. Test first, then decide what to do.

Hoping for a win tonight but not wanting it to end at the same time 💛💙

LET’S GO BREWERS!!!

You sit down at 8:40pm. You call that a good day.

You know about protein. You know about walking. You know about sleep. You’re doing some of it.

That’s not the problem.

The problem is you’re in survival mode, and survival mode has no room for you.

You can’t make a healthy choice from a body that’s just trying to get through the day.

So here’s my question. What would one Tuesday look like if you weren’t just getting through it?

If you’re ready to get out of survival and start living your life comment READY.

1. Your shins itch at night. No rash. So you know: itching without a rash is documented in the menopause transition. Thyroid and iron can do it too, so tell your doctor.

2. Your face feels one size too small after you wash it. Skin holds less water and makes less oil as estrogen drops.

3. The skin on your thighs looks like crepe paper when you sit. Collagen loss is linked to falling estrogen.

4. Your neck and chest go red and blotchy mid-sentence. You started wearing scarves. Flushes show up on the skin first.

5. Your hair changed texture. The curl is gone, or the straight hair started to wave. Hair can change with hormones.

I know how strange it is when your skin starts doing things nobody warned you about.

None of this is vanity. Your skin has estrogen receptors in it, so it notices when estrogen swings.

Five things. One year. Save this for the next time you think it’s just you and follow for more information like this.

You didn’t collect six separate problems in your forties.

Comment READY if you’re done with labs being confusing and ready for someone to help you meet your goals 1:1 by helping you with your labs and developing protocols that for your life.

10/24/2026

Save this for your next grocery run.

Food supports your hormones, it doesn’t override them.

In perimenopause your estrogen and progesterone swing instead of just dropping, so the same list can help one woman and do nothing for another.

If your liver, gut, and blood sugar aren’t doing their jobs, no amount of broccoli fixes that.

Functional testing shows you what to lean on.
