Soaking up these last little moments of late summer. 🌾🦋☀️
My witchy soul absolutely loves fall, but I’m doing my best to stay present with the season we’re actually in.
Bare feet on the earth. Sun on my skin. Slow mornings and quiet moments. These are the things that remind me that nature never rushes.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, late summer is associated with the Earth element, a season of nourishment, grounding, stability, presence, and gathering inward.
I’ll be the first to say that my knowledge of TCM only scratches the surface, but I’m endlessly fascinated by this lens through which we can observe the natural world, our bodies, and the ways the two are always in conversation.
Especially as a woman, I love noticing how our inner seasons can be reflected in the world around us. There’s something so grounding about allowing nature to be our teacher.
So as I soak up these final days of late summer, I’m practicing a little more presence. A little more steadiness. A little less rushing toward what’s next.
And I created a practice to help you do the same. 🤎
Late Summer Earth Element Yin is now inside Moonbody, a slow, grounding yin practice inspired by the Earth element and the energy of late summer.
A practice for settling in, creating space, and remembering that sometimes there is nowhere else we need to be.
