October has been a fun month to get our fall programs up and running!

Our teen group got to enjoy a private concert performed by The Institute of Rock and a chance to try playing some new instruments!

Our lego club created art using a lego base plate as their canvas

Our sibling support group played some getting-to-know you games, got acquainted with their "also me" journals and created their own tote bags!

We can't wait too see you all again next month!

Thank you Sutter County Superintendent of Schools Infant Program for inviting us to your annual Trunk-or-Treat! We had such a fun day handing out goodies, seeing all the cute costumes and sharing info about Family SOUP

Thank you Yuba County Library for inviting us to join you for storytime at the Bishop's Pumpkin Farm today. We had a fantastic time doing music and movement activities and sharing information about Family SOUP

Come say Hi to us at Bishop's Pumpkin Farm as we join Yuba County Library for a special music & movement story time!

Event is free! We'll be there 10-11:30 am

If you missed our story time at the pumpkin patch, we have two more happening in October! Join us on Wednesday, October 14th, in the prizewinning pumpkin field for some fun music and movement with Family SOUP; along with stories and a craft with the Yuba County Library. Our final story time at Bishop’s pumpkin farm will be October 21st when we will be joined by Yuba County Health & Human Services. Yuba County Health and Human Services will meet you at the main entrance of the park and give you a tour of the farm while sharing about pedestrian safety. Afterwards we will have pumpkin themed books and crafts in the prizewinning pumpkin field. Each event will be from 10-11:30AM. Open to all kids, no registration necessary. Be sure to carve out some time this fall and join us for these fun story times!

The weather may not feel like Fall, but we had ALL the fall feels at our Sensory Play Group Pumpkin Party this morning!

We enjoyed finding pumpkins hidden around the Artisan Community Garden, decorating pumpkins, tasting pumpkin treats and exploring pumpkin themed sensory materials .

A HUGE thank you to Learning in Play for providing the beautiful pumpkin themed sensory tray. Another huge thank you for donating another dinosaur sensory tray to gift to one of our pumpkin party friends!

Thank you Sutter County Museum and Sutter County Superintendent of Schools for your partnership in this event! 💕
