Putting the integration into Integrated Support Team (IST)

We are beyond fortunate here at Acadia to have both an Athletic Therapy program and a Dietetics program, one of only 2 schools in Canada to have both programs.

Today Molly :) from our Acadia Sports Nutrition teAcadia Sports Nutritiond athletes to complete the InBody testing. This body composition scan compares allows us to see muscle mass by limb.

These measures set pre-procedure benchmark values for surgical rehab. It is great to have one more tool that adds to the quantitative rehab metrics along side our circumference measurements and the data from Acadia Sports Performance Acadia Sports Performanceanks again Molly :) !

Grind when you have to for a sprint, but you can't stay in that pace. Eventually - the ATP runs out.

Going from full control of my time in business back into the full time team setting was a bit of a whiplash, but we're settled in and finding our footing, and trying to get back to demonstrating balance.

Volunteered for 8 days last week with the U18 Womens National Championship.

A shout out to Bre, Jordyn and crew from Hockey Canada for their support and to the Host Committee for pulling together across 2 venues to ensure a great event. Thanks to the teams who brought an amazing calibre of play every single game.

So many thanks go to for holding down the Glacier medical ops while I repped at CBS.

Thanks to the 9 physicians who volunteered their time and the other 7 medical crew volunteers spanning sport physio, nurse, physio, chiro, med student, and kin student!

And thanks to and for bringing the event to the area.

One of my favourite townie views, at one of my favourite suppliers, and my favourite morning workout 💪

After Games I was not sure I'd ever think of shoveling ice without immense rage but healing is shoveling 500+lbs of ice 3 months later and only feeling peace and gratitude.

Also - sports and events are full of unsung heroes - my ice guy is the most reliable, generous, easy going and good humored dude. And efficient!! I rolled in at 9am, he dropped a fishtub of ice by my suv, we bantered, I shoveled 500ish lbs of ice into 8 coolers, and I was out of there in 15 minutes. Mad appreciation for him.
