At VHA, we know how important it is to support youth in developing the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers. That’s why, for the past 10 years, we’ve proudly taken part in the Canada Summer Jobs program.

Each summer, we welcome a new group of students and provide them with meaningful work experience that lays the foundation for future success. Many of our past participants have even gone on to join VHA in permanent roles.

We’re thrilled to welcome this year’s cohort and look forward to another summer of learning, growth and opportunity!

, two weeks ago, we hosted our annual Interprofessional Symposium where we brought together almost 200 of our homecare specialists from various disciplines to discuss and reflect on how to improve and advance home health care.

The North York Community Care Clinic provides access you access to a nurse practitioner while you are waiting to be connected with a permanent care provider.

To access the North York Community Care Clinic, you must:

✅ Not have an existing family doctor or nurse practitioner
✅ Must live close to and be able to attend the clinics in person at these addresses:

At VHA, we’re excited about our collaboration with ACL, Knee Replacement & Hip Replacement App by Curovate on a new pilot program aimed at making physical therapy more accessible for Ontarians.

VHA clients taking part in the program will receive 12 months of free access to this innovative digital rehab app, helping them build lower-body strength and pursue their rehabilitation goals in the comfort of their own homes.
