Last night, I hosted my first charity gong bath to raise money for Women’s Aid, and I’m still feeling all the feels.
I was super nervous. And when I first sent out my newsletter and only one person had booked (thank you, !🥺), I did wonder if I’d been a little overambitious.
Buuuuut, by the time the gongs started singing, we were SOLD OUT. And I honestly couldn’t quite believe it.
My lovely, beautiful, kind gong community showed up. For me, for Women’s Aid, and for themselves. We came together on a full moon, took some time to rest and breathe, and did something meaningful together.
And we raised just over £300 for Women’s Aid!
Huge thanks to everyone who bought a ticket and came along. Thank you to those who couldn’t make it but donated anyway. Thank you to my wonderful support network who encouraged me to go for it, even when I was feeling nervous.
I’m so grateful to each and every one of you.
Sometimes, when the world feels heavy, we can feel a bit helpless about what to do with all those feelings. Last night reminded me that even a small idea, a room full of lovely people and a willingness to try can make a difference.
It might not change the world overnight, but it’s something. And sometimes, something is a really good place to start.
Thank you for being part of it. ❤️
