If we're not on the water, we're usually doing something related to water 💙. This was a water quality session with River Esk Connect - REConnect looking at river fly as a sign of our local beck's health. This stream feeds directly into the Esk and harbour and then into the sea via some very precious salt marsh. Thanks to Hellen from Groundwork for showing us what to look out for 🦟🦗🪰🪳

Join us tomorrow, Thursday 6 August 11am -2pm, at Bolton Abbey for an interactive water safety event.

Our Prevention team will be bringing the water flume to demonstrate the hidden dangers of rivers and moving water.

Come along to:

✅ Learn about the dangers of water and how to stay safe
✅ Watch live water flume demonstrations
✅ Understand the effects of cold water shock

Road trip to Ocean Vertical in Dunbar, Scotland 🙌🏻. Gotta learn from the best! Stevie is an awesome outdoor adventure specialist and trainer with The Academy of Surf Instructors , so it's a privilege to learn from him 🤩. We had a 3 hour session at Bass Rocks (no pics, concentrating too hard and having a blast! 🤣). An absolute treasure trove of information, knowledge and experience ✨
