Such a great night at the groundbreaking for Intermountain Health’s Felicia and Ben Horowitz Children’s Hospital, Nevada’s first stand-alone children’s hospital. Even better, I got to run into my patient Benji. He’s an inspiring, remarkable young man and a reminder of why I feel so privileged to be a pediatric surgeon and care for children and families every day. Also excited that my wife could share the excitement with me!
