It was great connecting with Nate and Jules from Fr33form today at the WestEdge Design Fair!

We loved learning about their innovative Vibe Chair, designed to allow intuitive freedom of movement. Our bodies naturally seek movement because we were never meant to sit still!

With its flexible frame, the Vibe Chair allows you to sway, rock, bounce, and oscillate—all while seated.

While everyone can benefit from movement-friendly seating, this type of design can be especially valuable for neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism. Movement can support self-regulation, focus, sensory needs, and overall comfort.

At New Agenda, we recognize that movement isn’t always a distraction. Sometimes, it’s exactly what the brain needs to stay engaged and regulated!

We love seeing innovative designs that embrace different ways of thinking, moving, and experiencing the world.

👏 Check out Fr33form and their Vibe Chair!

As ADHD Awareness Month comes to a close, we’re reminded that awareness is just the beginning.

Understanding ADHD means looking beyond the misconceptions and recognizing the many ways it can impact a student’s everyday life—from executive function and time management to task initiation, organization, and emotional regulation.

But understanding is only the first step. The months ahead are an opportunity to turn that awareness into meaningful support.

At New Agenda Coaching, executive function coaching helps students build practical strategies, strengthen skills, and grow their confidence and independence, all through personalized, relationship-based support.

Let’s keep learning, keep listening, and keep the conversation going beyond October.

If you’re looking for support for your student, connect with New Agenda Coaching to learn more about our executive function coaching services. 🧡

Coach Tamara recently traveled to France to celebrate her sister’s wedding! 🇫🇷💍 What a special opportunity to step away from everyday responsibilities, make memories, and spend time with family.

Taking a break and connecting with the people we love can help us recharge. Rest and connection also support the executive function skills we use every day, including managing emotions, staying focused, and approaching challenges with a fresh perspective.

We hope Tamara enjoyed this wonderful time with her family! 💙

Treats, costumes, and community! 🎃👻 New Agenda loved participating in the Autism Society of Central Virginia’s Trunk or Treat!

Thank you to ASCV for putting on an event where individuals and families could connect, celebrate, and enjoy Halloween together. We’re proud to support your mission of supporting, empowering, and building connections for our local autism community.

Through individualized executive function coaching, New Agenda helps autistic individuals build skills, confidence, and independence as they work toward goals that matter to them. 🧡

ADHD conversations often focus on what is difficult, but that's only part of the story.

Creativity. Curiosity. Big-picture thinking. Problem-solving. Enthusiasm.

These are just some of the strengths that may be seen in individuals with ADHD. At the same time, ADHD looks different from person to person, and not every individual will experience the same traits or strengths.

At New Agenda, our goal isn't to change who a student is. It's to help them better understand how they learn, identify the skills they want to strengthen, and develop strategies that support their individual goals.

This ADHD Awareness Month, we're celebrating the whole student. 💙

What makes New Agenda different? We start with the relationship. 💙

Coach Tamara Scheuermann shares how at New Agenda our coaching is relationship-based and personalized to the individual—not a one-size-fits-all program.

We take the time to understand each student's strengths, challenges, goals, and unique needs so we can build strategies that actually work for them.

Because meaningful growth starts with feeling understood, supported, and seen.

What an honor to be recognized during ADHD Awareness Month by Chesterfield County Public Schools with their “Better Together” Recognition for our collaboration with Catherine Tompkins, M.Ed., Family Partnership Specialist, Communications and Community Engagement. 💙
At New Agenda Executive Function Coaching, we believe that meaningful progress happens when schools, families, and community partners work together to better understand and support neurodivergent students.
Our collaboration with Chesterfield County Public Schools reflects the power of partnership in raising awareness, building understanding, and helping students with ADHD and other learning differences access the support they need to thrive.
We are grateful to Catherine and the Chesterfield County Public Schools team for their commitment to strengthening family and community connections. Together, we can help more students recognize their strengths, build essential skills, and reach their potential.
Because when we work together, we make a difference. And we truly are ! 💙
