For all the mamas out there who have lost their babies far too soon, I’m holding you gently in my heart today.

I know just how it feels: the shock, the heartbreak, the anger, the deep sadness, the grief most don’t see.

An experience so many of us know so well, yet so often unseen and talked about.

Losing a baby - a child, at any stage is gut wrenching. It’s not just your child, but all the hopes and dreams that go with that child are lost too.

Just look for the signs of your babies, they are all around us 🦋🦋

Fall is a time that I’ve lost two little ones. One at 8.5 weeks and one at about 10 weeks. And it is in fall that I see the most signs of them everywhere.

Sometimes you have to drop the excuses and build your village even in those hard seasons. There may not ever be an easy time, yet we all need community. We all need a lending hand and to show up when and where we can for others.

Nurtured Motherhood Circle is a place to come and create your village. We gather for four weeks in the forest and will dive deep into brain development, presence, empathy, intuition, and compassion. All are welcome (pregnant and postpartum + your babies 0-18 months) and childcare for older children is available!

There are just a few more weeks to sign up! I’m so excited to share this Nurtured Motherhood Circle with our community here in the Upstate.

We’ve shortened the length to accommodate for the holidays. I know many of us are gearing up to be loving on our families, making nourishing meals, and hosting family or friends.

But what if before the holiday rush, you had some time to slow down and focus on you and your growing baby. Whether you’re pregnant or postpartum, this is a great opportunity to slow down and nourish yourself and your baby in the many ways you deserve.

This is for the mothers doing it differently. This isn’t aimed at any one mother or type or mother.

This is also not a slight at anyone who birthed in a hospital, struggled to breastfeed and ultimately couldn’t or decided not to, or anyone whose babies sleep in cribs.

There are so many beautiful ways to mother, but for those who make different or alternative decisions from generations past, so many are not seen or acknowledged for the beautiful ways they too are choosing to mother.

I realize too that there are mothers who long for these things and may feel deep grief about the way certain things went. I see you too and have been there as well.

Love to all the mamas out there and if you’re in the Greenville area come join our circle at The Greene Family. Victoria Greene and I will be honest a Nurtured Motherhood Circle at the end of this month. We switched up the length to accommodate the holidays. This circle will be just 4 precious weeks long - all are welcome (pregnant and postpartum + your babies 0-18 months). Childcare provided for older siblings.

Math has never been my friend! I want my children to have a different experience with math.

My son just turned 5 years old and I didn’t want him to dread math, which is why I’m thrilled to have found the Lovevery Math Set.

He has absolutely loved it. Dare I say it’s his favorite subject to learn about?

This is our second year doing Wondergarten and Apple Week is definitely a favorite in our family.

Petipom’s Apple Cakes might just become a bit of a fall tradition.

Some of what’s captured here is actually part of the Wondergarten test curriculum. Did you know they have test curriculums for K-3rd? We’re really enjoying it and it’s only $25/month!

If you have a child that’s 3-5, their early childhood curriculum is absolutely magical! We started last year and the kids loved it!

No one and nothing has stretched me like my first child and the experience of motherhood.

I’ve grown in ways I didn’t think was possible.

I’m not the same girl who wanted into having my first baby.

Today I’m a mother and it’s the title I wear most proudly.

If you’re doubting yourself, you aren’t alone. And I promise you can find your path. You can find your intuition, instincts, & confidence too.
