Post- using patient’s own rib cartilage & buccal fat pad contouring.

👃 He wanted more definition to his tip & bridge, alongside a narrower nostril width. The height to his bridge & tip weren’t very low, but, to create more definition to them, more projection to the tip was required. To do this, rib cartilage grafts were fashioned to add the structure required for this change. His nostril width was addressed using an alarplasty - which removes excess skin around the nostrils along natural skin creases.

👤 Finally he was looking to create a more chiseled jawline, particularly in the region of his buccal fat pads. A conservative buccal fat pad was performed.

🥼 She wanted more definition to her bridge and tip; so to achieve the look, adding height is required. The key to getting such a natural and beautiful results is augmenting the right amount, not the most. Some patients require more augmentation than others and that depends each individual facial ratios. I account for these differences to achieve the correct height that harmonizes the face instead being a focal point.

This patient wanted subtle changes and these cases, although smaller in changes, often times can be more challenging.

To create the desired outcome, the bridge height was reduced to soften her contours, but no so much as to lose definition on her bridge width. Her nasal tip was also contoured to address the minor hang of her columella and a minor alar base reduction was performed as well.

As you can see, these changes created more harmony to the face and are very natural in appearance.

This natural-looking result is amazing was achieved within a 3 hour timeframe. The patient wanted to address the hump on the bridge of the nose and to make the tip more defined and less droopy. To do this, Dr Kwak performed a preservation rhinoplasty technique to contour the bridge - this technique maintains the definition of the bridge. For the tip changes - cartilage from her own nose was added to provide structure and support to improved tip position and definition. We can’t wait to show you how the nose progresses!
