Our clinical expertise and determination to provide a service which is second to none gives every client and family the best possible chance of leading a meaningful and rewarding life. Established in 2002 by Louise Chance, A Chance For Life Ltd has swiftly achieved an excellent reputation as a reliable, cost effective and innovative service provider, operating throughout Lancashire, Cumbria and the North of England. Services primarily fall in the category of health care, although occupational therapy and case management intervention often encompasses a variety of needs such as social care, physical disability, mental health, vocation and employment.

📍 Location: Carlisle ⏰ 16 hours per week + 1 sleepover per week 💷 £13.35 per hour (depending on experience)

Are you caring, enthusiastic and passionate about making a difference to someone's life? We are looking for a Female Rehabilitation Support Worker to join an established support team, working with a lovely lady with cerebral palsy in her own home and out in the community.

🌟 What does the role involve?

You'll be supporting our client with everyday activities, helping her to enjoy life, maintain her independence and get involved in the things she loves.

These include: 🎭 Theatre shows and cultural activities 🚶‍♀️ Walks and trips out ☕ Coffee, cake and people watching 🎨 Arts and crafts 🏐 Boccia and regular weekly activities

💜 About you

We're looking for someone who:

Has previous experience supporting people with disabilities.
Is caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic.
Enjoys getting out and about and sharing new experiences.
Has similar interests in culture, arts, crafts and social activities.
Is happy to work a flexible shift pattern.

£13.35 per hour, depending on experience.
Full training and ongoing supervision.
