When it comes to resetting your stress response and lowering your cortisol levels, here are some tips:

- Exercise regularly
- Take up a hobby like yoga or meditation
- Eat healthy, balanced meals and get enough sleep
- Avoid unhealthy habits such as smoking, excessive caffeine, and too much alcohol

Do eat out or order food more than twice a week? If so, you may want to pay special attention to what you are ordering, how the food is prepared and how large the portions are. Most restaurants use two to three times the recommended amount of salt, sugar and unhealthy fats. Order items baked, broiled without butter or steamed. Ask for sauces and dressings to be placed on the side and avoid fried foods. You can still enjoy a meal out- just order smart!😉
