Dietary Counseling Sessions on ZOOM

Who can participate?
Only active Dr. P**n’s Metabolic Diet Clinic patient (seen at the office within the last 12 months) can participate.
Fee:
Free of charge to the patients. It will be marked on your chart as a video visit. There will be a charge as a no show if you signed up but did not attend the session.
When:
Session #1, May 8 (Sunday) at 2:00 PM.
Topic is General Concepts of Nutrition and Misconceptions of Dieting
Session #2, May 15 (Sunday) at 2:00 PM.
Topic is Phase 1, 2, and 3 of the Dr. P**n’s Metabolic
Diet Program
Session #3, May 22 (Sunday) at 2:00 PM
Topic is Label Reading Essentials
Session #4, May 29 (Sunday) at 2:00 PM.
Topic is Exercise, sleep hygiene, relaxation, emotional eating, supplement and medications.
These sessions will be repeated in the future. Time and date will be available at each clinic and our website when available. Suggest starting your counseling session from session one.
Length of each session:
Approx. 1.5 hour. Slide presentation is about 45 minutes to 60 minutes and Q& A period will be approximately 20 minutes.
How to sign up:
Send an email to [email protected] with your full name, date of birth, health card number and two-letter version code, and the name of the clinic that you go to. If you are from the Mississauga or the Scarborough Clinics, we will need your full name, date of birth, all the numbers of your health card plus version code and the location of your clinic.
Write down which session that you wish to attend.
Once we verified your info is correct, we will send you a link with the “Meeting ID” and “Passcode” so that you can log on to Zoom before the session start.
If you are unable to attend the session, you are required to cancel by emailing to [email protected]
24 hours before the session. Do not call the clinic directly. Otherwise, a $36 fine will apply.
During the Zoom session, you will see and hear Dr. P**n and the presentation slides at the meeting. Your voice will be muted so that it will not affect other patients. Click the “Chat” button in the lower bar and input your question. Dr. P**n will organize the questions and answer them at the end of the slide presentation.

Some of the slides of the presentation is available for those patients who wish to keep for personal use.
There is a handling fee of $10 for each session. Please e-transfer $10 to [email protected] and state the session number (number 1 to 4) in your email. It will be emailed to you as an attachment.
