Trauma to the toenails can happen for many different reasons such as nail infections, injuries, discolouration, or surgery. The nail is sometimes permanently damaged and the nail bed (skin) is exposed. In such cases, toenail reconstruction is recommended to protect your toes and get your feet ready for the summer weather!
